Friends - February 2007

ok.. about a week and a half ago, i got in an arguement with one of my best friends. lets call her lizzy. the fight started because a rumor got started about lizzy and her boyfriend(both in 8th grade with me) having sex and lizzy being pregnent. i would NEVER do something like that to my best friend, but lizzy's highly influencial friends told her i did. she wouldn't believe me that i didnt start it(i was one of the only people she told that she was getting close to it, but the rumor was started for a different reason). so lizzy wouldnt believe me no matter what that i didnt start it. by this time shes really mad at me and cant stand me. at lunch last tuesday, she cursed me out and told me that she never wanted anything to do with me ever again. unfortunately she knows my 2 BIGGEST secrets(both being rather embaressing and not something i want people knowing) so i was scared. she is good friends with alot of my good friends, so they went on her side. alot of them still dislike me.....

My husband works nights as a server in a local fine dining restaurant. He works for minimum wage plus tips. It's the tips though, that pay for our bills, the 4 to 5 hour shift at minimum wage is hardly a paycheck.
Anyway
We are friends with this couple. They are both in higher paying jobs than we are. She's an RN and he's a Physical Therapist. They know that my husband works for tips.
When we go out to restaurants together, they are sooo critical of the servers. They are bossy, demanding and rude the whole time. After all that, they refuse to tip well, even if the service was perfect. They say to us, "If they want better pay, they should get better paying jobs." The most I've seen them tip voluntarily is 10%, at a very high end restaurant. We usually split the bill in half when we go out, so they always make a big fuss when they see how much we tip.
Like I said before, they KNOW that's how our bills are paid.
Isn't that disrespectful to us?
Would you say something to them?

Ok.. this is my first big choicein while, so here I go. It's about to be my first time in my life to eve go out with a girl.. I'm in 8th grade also... so my friend hooked me up with her but its my choice to go or not go with her... which I like her and she likes me, she also thinks I'm really funny, I'm also making skyrocketing grades, but this girlfriend won't be a distraction or anything I know... but I want to ask the yahoo users!!! Well , I HAD a best friend named , well let's just say friend.. About a month ago , she and I got in this fight (which was nothing new , we always got in fights) and she hasn't talked to me since. She said I am an annoying brat.. But now she can't even be in the same ROOM as me. She's not the person you can just talk to and things will just work out , she holds really long grudges and I have a bad feeling this one just won't go away. But in a few days my other best friend is having a birthday party , and we're both going. It's going to be completely awkward and I honestly don't know what to do. I miss her so much , but just don't know if there's even anything left TO do. Any suggestions ?

My friend always seems flirty, but i'm not sure if it's just being flirty or friendly in her own way, I'll let you decide. Well everytime we stand in a little group and talk, she's always looking at me even though i'm not talking, and she'll be facing me the whole time and sometimes staring me down. Sometimes she'll get very close to me to where her hair touches my arm. If i don't do something that satisfies her, she'll make a little pouty face, then laugh about it. One time i layed my head down on her side of the table just to annoy her, but she lay her head down on top of my back. Why does she act like this?

There have been a few times when I've hung out with freinds in the past, and I'll be talking and trying to contribute to the conversation(I was not talking quietly either)....and it was if I didn't exist. I was seeing this guy that I had only know a short time. Acorrding to him things got in his words to seriurs to fast. So he decided that he want to drop the whole bf/gf thing and start back as friends. So my question is how to be friends with him even though my feelings for have not change to much. He still says he likes me and that he cares about me to an extent.///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
ONE more question mainy for the guys but all helps is welcome. If your gf or someone you like and want to get to know is 24 and still lives at home would you be less likely to come around because you think she has no privacy and her mother is always in her business. If so whould moving out in your own place make a difference to you. What else whould make a difference or show that she is more secure? {He stated that he wants her to become more secure}

ok i had this best friend ever since kindergaten and now im in 6th grade. well i moved for the first time and we was keeping in touch and then my other best friend started talking about me at their school and my one friend told me. so i was talking to her on the phone one night and she told me i had turned into a black ni**er and she said that because i now go to a mostly black school and so that really upset me because i had new friends and so she said that i had betrayed her and she never wanted to talk to me

okay well its valentines day and so much stuff happened. im thirteen and in seventh grade. we had a sock hop at my school today and there was lots of drama going on. me and my friend tried to stay out of it as much as possible but most of it was about us.
MY StoRy: theres this guy who i'll call "R" and theres another guy "M" both of them used to like me like a whole lot but i thought they were over it. i found out today from my friend that M wanted to dance with me . i really hate him like literately and i thought he knew. aaron his friend told me he thought i was just joking about it but im really not! "R" was just kinda staring at me all night and he started to freak me out! niehter one of them ever actually asked me to dance w/ them cause i tried to avoid them as much as possible. but they are both in my homroom and idk what to do tomarrow! so plz respond fast. i just need help knowing what to tell them and what to do. now our school is getting into this & idk wat 2 do!
