First of all let me say how sorry I am to hear about this.Yes I feel he should be charged with killing the baby as well. But in certain courts and laws, they don't find the fetus a human if it's not far along. It all depends on how far she was when he killed her. It's like an abortion they won't give one if the fetus is to far along, because then it's considered murder. I read once where a man was not charged with killing a baby inside the mother because they considered it a fetus and not a human being yet. But I would look in to it and contact the D.A's office and see if he could be charged with killing her baby as well, which he should be.I'm very sorry for your loss, unfortunately she didn't take anyone with her sometimes people act crazy when they have to face certain things, and the fact that he was married had alot to do with it,he probably didn't want his wife to find out about the baby, since he just had one not to long ago, well she found out worst things about him.Well good luck and again I'm sorry and I'm glad they caught him.

First off let me say sorry to hear about your friend. To think that people in society actually can do that is outrageous. Some men dont want a girl to be happy without them even if they have moved on with another women. Yes, it should be considered as a double homicide if she was pregnant because he killed two people. I think that he should be charged w/ double homicide and senctenced to life in prison. They are getting rid of the death penalty or else i would say that! Again sorry to hear about your friend and baby!

I think it does count as a double homicide. I've read cases where a pregnant women's fetus counts as a second body. Secondly, it's really scary what we can do as human beings when we are really desperate and scared. I'm really sorry for your friend. It's obvious that this man had no conscious. I hope he gets what's coming to him.

well, first off I would like to say that I am sorry for your loss.I never could figure out how people could kill another person,no matter what made them mad or how they were feeling....but unfortunetly not everyone feels that way.I must say though that I dont believe in the death penalty. Some people have such emational issues that they are not all there and some people get so mad that they cant control their tempers.I guess that they dont think that they will ever get caught.....I think that people like that should sit in jail and I promise one day he will feel very bad for what he has done to another human and his own child.Maybe not in this life, but when he dies and he ahs to face god.good luck.

Here in Texas a similar case resulted in the defendant being charged with two capital murders (he knifed a pregnant girlfriend; she and the foetus died). He is currently awaiting a "hot shot" (lethal injection).
I am a firm believer in the death penalty; there will be no recividism if the perpetrator is executed!

The double homicide issue is iffy since abortion is legal (thankfully) in this country. However, your story is very sad and I'm sorry for your loss. There are some really ugly and cruel people in this world, may karma catch up to the one who committed this atrocity.

Double Homicide and they should seek the death penalty. The sorry S.O.B needs to meet some big boys in prison for a few years to make him their *****.

You have my condolence - that's horrible. I wish I had an answer for you. I don't think any of us will truly understand evil acts like that.
Personally, I'm for the death penalty. If he's truly guilty, he should fry for that.
