Friends - January 2007

How do I tell my friend that I'm sick of her bullcrap? She's always making up lies. But my other friend and I think she's just doing it to crave attention. First she says she's pregnant then she just says it's muscle. But now she's making up lies about one of the teachers at our school. And it's not nice either. I don't want to get into a fight with her.....just tell her her lies aren't getting her anywhere. I think she's getting in way over her head and my other friend thinks she painting herself in to a corner. But the worst part is...she's not just lieing to us but to her dad. Her dad doesn't know that she sneaks out and gets drunk. She's only 14 and doing a bunch of crap. So what should I do? Tell her or just leave it to her to make a fool out of herself and get caught in a lie?

Me, Jason and Steve grew up together and have remained close friends. Jason is still single. Steve has recently married for the second time to Louise, who is somewhat younger than us.

Steve has just returned from working in South America for six months. He asked us to look after Louise while he was gone. On his return, Louise has told him that Jason has been trying it on with her. Steve is now refusing to have anything to do with Jason.

Jason tells me that, in fact, Louise tried it on with him (to be fair, he did mention this to me whilst Steve was away). He is adamant that he has done nothing wrong.

Any suggestions as to how to resolve this problem. It has already ruined our Christmas, and this has been the first New Years Eve when we haven;t seen the New Year in together.

I really want to ask this girl out, bu if she says no, it will be really awkward since my locker is next to hers and i sit next to her in a few classes. plus ive only rlly known her for a few months. if we see each other in the hallway we might say hi or something, but i never see her out of school and am not rlly friends with any of her friends, how can i casually ask her out without having the awkwardness of having to see her every day after being rejected?

im 17 and my best friend and i went to the movies and we usually go to starbucks afterwards and just catch up. well last night my best friend gets on her phone and starts chatting away with some guy. as we reach my car she tells the person on the phone to wait a second while she talks to one of her friends and says to me hey do u mind... i just slammed my car door in her face and left. she ditched me for some guy and im not apologizing. my best friend since 7th grade left me for a guy i thought friends were supposed to be there since i did ditch my boyfriend to go out with her. i do have a right to be mad dont i? im not the one thats going to apologize thats for sure. whats my next move though?

Ok, now that I have your attention, my foot has nothing to do with this. My friend just put tape on her cats foot and I have used all the small words I can and she don't understand why it looks like it's dancing when the cat walks. She is 14 not 4. And she isn't a retard or anything like that. Does anyone know what I should do, cause I think she is going crazy, I will even except the stupid answers, who knows, that might be what it takes.

i told my friend i liked him and last night he came over and we were flirting he told my friend he liked me a lot. it was me and a bunch of my friends over my house watching movies and playing pool. so during our second movie that we were watching we sat next to each other. he would do stuff to make me move my chair closer to his. so as we were sitting, i put my legs ontop of his and was like lying in my chair. so we were flirting and he was tickling me. a few minutes later he took my hand and we were holding hands for almost the entire movie and he kept one of his hands on my leg. then i decided to sit upright in my chair and he put his arm around me and we were still holding hands and he kept tickling me and flirting and we were having a lot of fun. almost right after he left he called me and we talked for another hour (he was over for 4 hours) i really like him and im positive he likes me too... so what do i do now? help PLEASE! i really like him and dont know what to do next!!

I had some experenses with this. its not fun even if there ur friends, im the kind of person whos sensitive, and gets their feeling hurt easly . This hasent happend alot but when someone comes up to u and says so & so doesent like u, even if they not trying to hurt ur feelings.

All my friends act like there 16 or 20 when there only 13. You wouldnt belive the stuff they do. Im not like that at all, i havent even kissed a guy. The way i became friends with them is i had this best friend and we hung out in this group of girls, and slowly the other bad girls started driffting into are group and the good girls left. so now its just mostly bad girls and me and my OTHER friend, my old best friend is now doing bad stuff 2. i dont want to hang out with them as much, but its hard to tottaly ditch them. because my OLD best friend was awesome but now i think shes ganna start doing bad stuff 2! This might be a little confusing but read it a few times and give me the best advice you can!!

I didn't up going to my best friend's wedding for some good reasons which I don't want to go into detail - he understood but I realize now that I could've gone if I had really figured some stuff out. His wedding is over now - I know he was disappointed but I feel like I want to apologize to him after the fact but I don't want him to feel worse.

I recently found out I'm BiPolar. Before that I swung from high to low in my moods,and did some pretty whacked out things during my highs. I tried to keep most of the really intense stuff from my friend, but he's a smart guy and found out. No he's totally pissed! I guess he's dissapointed in my lack of judgement and will power. He's absolutely enraged with one of my girlfriends for allowing me to lose control, knowing what I was going thru. And now I'm feeling lost without him!
How can I save our friendship?

I've been seeing this guy for a month and a half. He lives about an hours drive away from me. I've known since I've met thim that his father was in a bad way. Just recently he went into hospital and that's the last I've heard from him. I've left a couple of messages on his phone like " just seeing how your going, call me if you need/want anything" and have been trying to get on with my life as much as possible but it's making me feel so unsure about my position. I find myself breaking down. we've only reall just gotten to know one another and I already feel like he's gone from my life. how do I handle this? what should I be doing? Should I just let it go.... or is this worth fighting for?

I like this kid we will call him kid 1 and so kid 1 has a brother thats kid 2. now kid 1 has a gf but i dont think he is really comitted to her. he is really nice and stuf. 3 yrs older than me.......

kid 1 has 2 brothers kid 2 is one of them then there is the other one that is 8 and when i am over there house i always get teased Haley likes Kid 1 repeat and so forth so if i tell him that i like him and wanna get into a realtionship w/ him he is obviusly going to say no because he already has a gf "Krista" *bleh* *bleh*
