i've known this girl for about 1 1/2 years. we've become good friends over time but i think shes taking advantage of me. it is not like i depend on her as an only friend but she only comes to me when no one is with her. she ignores me when shes with others. when shes in trouble she comes to me. i dont know what to do. i want to be there for her but she can be so clingy at times and she always expects me to undertand what shes going through and i can't. we had a pretty big fight or first and i thought it was about the dumbest thing. we're in boarding school so we were coming back from the town where the shops are and me and my other friend sort of sped up because we were late to catch the bus. she started acting so stubborn that she went so slow. i was stuck in the middle trying to make one speed up and the other to slow down. at dorms she got so mad at me and started crying and she expects me to say "im sorry". i cant do it anymore and we're rooming again next semester what should i do

a lot of my friends are angry at me for something i did to one of them. i would apologize of course, but i honestly dont know what i have done. they also refuse to tell me. I just want to understand and to know so that i can apologize. but its almost christmas, my chritmas party is being held day after next and it doesnt help that we dont see each other in school anymore because of the break. please help me im panicking.

I gave my best friend a present that I thought she would like, but when she opened it, she said 'that's nice' but then 2 mins later told me she already had it. I was a bit upset, as it was quite expensive and also because I offered to take it back and get her something else, but she said don't worry. Whats the point of telling me tht you already have it, when you don't want the person to take it back? What would you have done?

I am going out for dinner tonight with 2 friends from uni. They both have babies (I do not as I dont want kids) and I know they will do nothing but talk about their kids all evening. Am I wrong to get irritated by this? I think it is bad manners to keep discussing the same thing every time we meet. Should I tell them they have half an hour to get all the baby talk out of the way or should I just keep on trying to change the conversation? It is really getting on my nerves now and I am thinking of stopping meeting up with them, to listen to the same boring dribble about babies aaaaargh !!!!

When I started working. I met this girl, who introduced me to her friend, than I met her friends. The thing is..the bunch of us have hit it off.I hang out with them alot.They have all accepted me, for me. and I can actually say that I am happy. The one guy, thinks I am cute, and we have fooled around a couple of times, I spent the night at his house a couple of times. The thing is, this friday my friend from college is leaving for alberta, and they are having a party for her. and that friday I have been invited to a birthday, (we are going clubing) This friend who is leaving, hasn't talked to me in a month and a half. when we would talk everyday, She has started hanging out with her old best friend, who she told me that she hated and hated how she treated her. and I told her I can't come on friday, and now she is pissed off with me. When we were closer friends, she was the one who would talk **** about me to my other friends, and she is the reason why two of my friends stoped talking

...I got back home from a family outing and called "a friend" that was coming to my house to get away from the city for a few days. I was asked why I did not answer my phone and when i explained that i did not know where my cell phone was and I was not at home to answer the house phone, this "friend" informed me that she had left some messages. I found 10 calls and 6 messages 3 of which were very, very nasty and abusive with stuff like "You better not call my Mo***r F****** phone ever again,you Fu****g B****." and many other slurs and crulitys.After I heard the messages, she acted like it was my fault and demanding to know if I was going to drive to get her so she could stay at my house and get a break from staying at her momma's. What is wrong with this picture? Help please?

i'm going to break it off with a friend in the next couple of days, and i'm wondering how i should go about it. i'm not looking to simply sever ties with this person, but the idea of an active friendship with them- calling each other, hanging out when possible- seems to be what i want to back away from for several reasons. i would love for them to convince me it's not a good idea, and i'm not 100% sure i want to be doing this, but i think i'm going to...how should i approach it, or should i ponder it more, or what?

I used to have a best friend, but she vanished when I was 6. She just left. I went to her house, but she'd moved away within the week. When I left primary school, some friends went off to a different school and said that they'd seen her walking around. I know someone out there knows her, and I really need to get back in touch with her. She used to live in London, her name is Milly Peck and she should be around 16 now. I've tried people finders, and she's not in the phone directories - can anyone try to point me in the right direction please?! I'd be most grateful!

i have a best friend that i grew up with since head start who is in love with my girl i know this because his little sister told me she read his goal list in it said to one day get wit her a couple weeks passed ive been getting him to be around her so they can tlk so i can get mad in see if i can hold my anger i even got them so close that i actully got her to got to a dance with him
