I get jealous easily. Especially of girls that are "more" attractive than me. How do I stop feeling jealous?

i used to do that...bad too...and honestly sometimes i still get there, but not as before....and yes it was over pretty girls....then i realized....there are a lot of pretty girls out there....and being jealous is childish..... but if you think about it,,,many girls would find you attractive and have a jealousy vibe from it. There are always gonna be prettier, smarter, funnier,happier people than you and i . You just gotta know that you are beautiful, and those girls,,,,really has nothing to do with your everyday life. The girl i most hated , because she was beautiful, athletic, smart, funny , rich, became my life best friend. I was going to say something mean about her nails(although they were very nice) i was going to make a negative comment, but when she came over, the first thing she did, was stick her hand out and say, "Hi My name is Betty, and by the way you look at me, i can tell you really don't care a rats ***, who i am, but I just wanted to come over here, and give you a complement on your style. And lost for words I said Thank You...and the conversation went on for hours....she became my best friend...and to think...i hated her for no particular reason. The quickest way to get over it is...pay them a complement on something they are Waring, hair style, shoes boots anything...you'll feel better before you know it....

Love yourself for what God made you. Stop worrying about what other people look like. What the hell does "more attractive" mean, anyway? What makes you unattractive? do you have a brain, do you have a personality? Are you kind to people or are you a mean person?
Worry about the important things in life. You sound insecure. Stop judging yourself based upon what hollywood tells you is important. Be a good person, achieve your goals, learn to think for yourself. and walk with your head held high.

1. focus on ur friends 2. focus on ur qualities 3. do somethin 2 take ur mind off it
they work 4 me sumtimes, but evry1 is diferent

Why would you get jelous? Everyone are unique in their own special way!(i got that in a movie) Anyway...maybe you are not showing everyone who you really are. Come on... you can stand out whenever you want to.

just think of the qualities you have that are better then theirs. Eg. you're a nicer person. Also, just thonk that there will always be someone out there who looks better then you. That means theres gotta be someone uglier then you. lol;)
