I know this girl and she complains too much about stupid stuff. I really don't care what she has to say. I try to tell her that its not that big of a deal but she keeps on. If I'm walking with her I try to go somewhere else just to escape her complaining. Its driving me nuts. I even told her once that all she does is complain and I'm tired of it. Yet, she still continues!!! Any advice on what I can tell her that will make her stop????

My best guy friend is turning 16 later this week...and I need help thinking of gifts! He got an '07 Corolla from his parents already. He loves scavenger hunts and activities of that sort, so I was thinking of sending him on a scavenger hunt around school and town to find his present...only I don't know what it is! I was thinking a car theme of some sort, I already got him a CD Visor organizer...but thats all I have so far. He's a neat freak and takes his car very seriously...he is a guy, after all..! Any ideas out there?

I fell in love with a 10-year old girl. She had the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen and the most beautiful heart I've ever touched. She had a drunkard for a dad, and an abusive ****** for a mom. She had 3 sisters, of which the eldest was a prostitute. The thought of her ending up like her big sister sent shivers down my spine. I wanted to love her and take her in -- away from these reckless people. But there was nothing I could do. I wasn't related to her so I had less right to care. After all, they wouldn't leave her to a pedophile if they find out. Being sent to her reckless aunt prompted her to start hanging around with her prostitute sister. 4 yrs later, she ran away and eventually became a prostitute. That was back in 1996. She's 24 now and a 10-yr veteran in the flesh trade. I'm 36 and teaching in college. If child lovers like me received less condemnation from society maybe her life would have been different with me. I miss her so badly. But everything's too late for us now.

I started an online writer's forum a few months ago - it was mostly my idea but a good friend helped me slightly. Since I'm the owner of the thing, I was the only one who could invite or add members. Since she (my friend) knew someone who'd wanted to join the group, I changed her membership so she could add/invite members. So she invited four people I barely know, and I don't think they'd be a help to the forum. Not sure what to do.... should I change her membership back to the orginal status? I don't know what she told the other people so I'm not sure if I should email them too?

OK, so my stepdad got me this Armani Ex. shirt, the white "Delicatessen" style, sleeveless with beads around the V-neck 4 my birthday. And it's hideous, and I'm sooo mad at my stepdad! I told him I demanded to get the one with trim around the bottom, not BEADS at the neck! i mean i will be the laughinstock at school if i wear that! its ridiculous i mean the man is a menace! is he trying to agitate me by getting the wrong shirt? I'm appalled! i mean, when i opened the box, i sarted crying and ran to my friend's house because i SPECIFICLALLY asked for the other shirt and he got my the TOTALLY wrong one!! I mean can't the guy do anything right? To get a little revenge so he learns his lesson, I was thinking of sneaking into his room tonight and lighting one of his hairs on fire, cause that couldn't cause pain or damage but just a little fright (i dont want to be destructive, just satisfied)...any other ideas for revenge, and am I overreacting?

i have the best friend ever named jess. well this other girl who did alot of mean stuff to me last year like wrote a letter to me sayin how fake bitchy and how much of a "man" i was. i forgave her and we became really good friends again. now she is mad at me because i put the my best friend jess before her. I just hope this dosent sound obserd,Im in need of a friend .someone to talk to literally and have fun with .when I engage in convo, it aleays gets deep and I blurt out too much that I'm feeling inside and some look at me like I have issues ,that only makes me feel more depressed and unwanted.I find myself searching and longing for childhood friends,as if it was a favorite doll that was lost and its the only thing that made me happy, thats how I feel about finding that loyal friend who understands me ,I have a kind heart and I noticethe essence in peoples hearts that others don't because Ive been hurt.but I feel alone inside.It's just in my lifetime of hurt ,fake friends take my emotions and joke about them,I'm not some sort of freak ,I grew to not even want to be around crowds because I feel like everyone can see thru me and see that I 'm lonely and laugh and taunt with my wanting to belong, even growing up I always found myself wanting to belong at ahome and in school.Is this normal

Umm...confused - everyone's opinion appreciated !!!?
just 3 nights before,i told my 3 month crush that i like him & he replied with a "i would have said yes,but i'm not looking for a relationship right now & i like someone else".he was VERY sweet abt it & we spent an hour talking abt life in general.

now,bear in mind that happened at this youth grp we attend & that was actually the last day of school too.so i won't be seeing him at school for 5 weeks.but i will b seeing him during the hols cos my friends are having a cookout thing at my place & he's coming too(generally,we'll be having a lot of hangouts this season).

ok! so,my question is,how should i act around him,now that he & everyone knows.there's nothing to hide.(i'm usually very shy around him & don't talk to him as much as i do with my other friends but after that conversation,how should i act?)my usual self?like hyper & very friendly?

ok so theres this friend i have and we call each other are best friend but when we're together theres like nothing to ever talk about and awkward silence, it's strange. anyways, we each have these 2 other best friends who we laugh and talk alot more too. it seems like we have so much to say to them then we do to each other. then, if we invite like someone over to our house or hang out with them the other one gets jealous. why is it so hard? what do u think?
