OK, so my stepdad got me this Armani Ex. shirt, the white "Delicatessen" style, sleeveless with beads around the V-neck 4 my birthday. And it's hideous, and I'm sooo mad at my stepdad! I told him I demanded to get the one with trim around the bottom, not BEADS at the neck! i mean i will be the laughinstock at school if i wear that! its ridiculous i mean the man is a menace! is he trying to agitate me by getting the wrong shirt? I'm appalled! i mean, when i opened the box, i sarted crying and ran to my friend's house because i SPECIFICLALLY asked for the other shirt and he got my the TOTALLY wrong one!! I mean can't the guy do anything right? To get a little revenge so he learns his lesson, I was thinking of sneaking into his room tonight and lighting one of his hairs on fire, cause that couldn't cause pain or damage but just a little fright (i dont want to be destructive, just satisfied)...any other ideas for revenge, and am I overreacting?

Have you ever heard of returning the shirt for an exchange? That would have been the normal reaction. I just don't understand all the other stuff. Just don't wear it to school if you cannot take it back. Men are generally not too great at picking out something without you being there anyway. Maybe you are overreacting because of the disappointment. How about a stepdad that ignores your birthday?. Now, that may suit you better. As far as revenge, I would not recommend that because in prison they don't have Armani garb. Straighten UP! My Gosh! Want to feel better, let it go and be decent for a change.

Well I'm guessing your stepdad doesn't know a hell of a lot about these shirts. You can probably exchange it. In the mean time, apologize to him for being so immature and over reacting, I'm sure he meant to get you the right one and feels bad. Not everybody knows all of this shi t you know. The world doesn't revolve around you.

Why would you think he's doing it on purpose? Maybe he misinterpreted your words- men aren't so great at shopping, are they?
Personally, I think you're overreacting. He probably just wants the best for you, but if you treat him as a emplacement, everything that he does and tries to do in order to get you to like him will seem completely despicable in your eyes. Give him a chance. Maybe he could have bought himself the tool he always wanted for the money he spent on your shirt, but he knew you would want to get that shirt , so he got it for you. anyways, it's just clothes.
give him a chance, ok?

girl you are crazy, how old are you 10? maybe you should seek some professional help. people make mistakes and parents don't know what is "cool" he probably thought just because of the brand name that it was cool. politely, ask for the receipt and exchange it.
