I fell in love with a 10-year old girl. She had the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen and the most beautiful heart I've ever touched. She had a drunkard for a dad, and an abusive ****** for a mom. She had 3 sisters, of which the eldest was a prostitute. The thought of her ending up like her big sister sent shivers down my spine. I wanted to love her and take her in -- away from these reckless people. But there was nothing I could do. I wasn't related to her so I had less right to care. After all, they wouldn't leave her to a pedophile if they find out. Being sent to her reckless aunt prompted her to start hanging around with her prostitute sister. 4 yrs later, she ran away and eventually became a prostitute. That was back in 1996. She's 24 now and a 10-yr veteran in the flesh trade. I'm 36 and teaching in college. If child lovers like me received less condemnation from society maybe her life would have been different with me. I miss her so badly. But everything's too late for us now.

i do understand you wanted to help this poor defenseless girl. However, if you wanted to do something, you should of contacted social services and visit the girl and BE HER FRIEND.
if she gotten out of her home, that would have changed the future, not you falling in love with her.

She wouldn't have been better off with a child molestor. Saying that is just a sign of your mental issues. That's like saying a baby is better off with wolves than with lions. Neither is good for them. Just because the wolf seems smaller and less frightening doesn't mean they aren't going to eat the baby.
You should have reported her family to child services. The foster care system isn't great, but I would rather be in foster care than with my horrible family, or some sicko who wants to have sex with little kids.
You need help. Being attracted to little girls isn't natural. What happens when they grow up, anyway? Do you move onto another victim or what? At least you teach in college. I would be very upset if you were teaching elementary students.

Sick people with behavior and thoughts that involve young litle girls or boys...is a sign that they need help not death.
If help don't work than life in prison will do just fine.
I was molested when I was five years old and I am doing fine in life and personally as a victim, I really don't give a shiit what happen in the past only what happens now!

If you cared for her you would have called social services and the fact that you didnt shows me you didnt care for her you are a sick person who is attracted to little girls.
And yes pedophilers deserve the death penalty but I will be satisfied with life in prison with out parole and manybe then you can find out how it feels to be a victim.

I would have to say no, simply on the basis that one should actually commit a crime to be sentenced to death. I think some of the other posts are confusing pedophiles with child molesters, or rapists.
