Joyce,
this is a well-known coping mechanism used by people who are angry at themselves. I'm not saying it's a good idea, because, and you know it yourself, it's not, but you are not alone in this. My sister did this, too. The thing that makes you do this is a feeling of having failed and being angry at yourself because of it. You may not know what that "failure" is, and you may need to do some deep thinking, or long and hard talking to someone you trust (which I know you don't want to do, fine), to identify where that first started. Once you have it, realize that the way out of it is to make sure that you get what YOU want from now on. people are walking all over you, and it's eating you.Learn to say "No", and learn to say it when you feel it. There's a simple trick: Count to 3 before answering any question, or responding to anything said in a conversation. This will give you the time to reflect on how you really feel about the issue before you say something. hope this helps a little.
All the best!
Tahini.

you hurt yourself as a way to cover up your suffering.everone does it differently. some people do it by having an eating diorder, drinking, getting high, even watching tv or playing viedo games can be a way of exscape if you do it to forget what you are so sad about.
what you need to do, ask yourself why you would want to hurt yourself, just because of what others think of you.. ask yourself what is really going on inside your heart that makes what these kids say to you impact you so much. you may need some help or guidence to figure a couple things out. talk to your parents about it, talk to a friend about it. dont stuff your feelings all up inside because if you do that then eventually you will burst and it wont be pretty.
good luck and god bless!

Sweety, you have a mental problem. It's called "cutters".
Sweety, go seek counseling and save yourself from a life of pain.
School is the worst place for people. There should be only home schooling! School age children, and teens, can make another persons life so depressed, that they end up wastien g the rest of their life feeling the kids in school were right, or mean, or fake, or creeps.....................please seek a counselor.
ONCE school is over, I'll be in hopes you have got guidence and are healthy. Good Luck

dude that is some messed up sh*t. seriously. my advice is to get rid of all heavy objects that may be used in the breaking-of-the-ankle, and also to throw out any and all sharp objects. good luck with that...
o yea, if you must cut or break something, cut the person who is making fun of you..why take it out on yourself?? break their f*cking jaw. that will shut them up. and it will make the rest of the people leave you the hell alone. you dont bother anybody and you dont deserve that **** so show them you aint a puss and do something about it to THEM not yourself...

subconsciously, you arwe doing it for attention b/c the lack of attention you recieve from peers or family. you dont know it but your hoping that someone will see it and give you pity and feel sad and you might lie about what happened but being physically hurts causes people to pay more attention to you in some cases but you are not crazy you just yearn for attention and go to extremes to get it

It sounds like you cant deal or dont want to deal with the emotional pain of trying to fit in with preps and stuck-ups in school, so your transfering this pain to physical cause physical pain, although leaves scars; pain eventually goes away, but deeper pain, emotional traumatic pains lasts untill therapy and still it remains there. I have been thru similar things in my high school life and it is tough but you will make it. Believe me I know,, cutting is not the answer hang in there. don;t let them know their getting to you...

please tell someone you can trust, and get help asap.
it will only get worse. you are taking anger and hurt out on yourself and it is only hurting you. do not worry about what
people think or say. i learned a long time ago, i dont care what
kind of person you are, some people will always have something
bad to say about you.
