I am a 16 year old girl, turning 17 a week before Christmas. This is my last year to have a birthday party and want to do something very fun. I need ideas though. & for the invite list, all of my friends don't really get along with one another, but I want to invite them all without the drama. What should i do?

1- for my party, i already thought of ice skating or a movie or sleepover, need other ideas.
2- how can i invite them all without the drama?

My freind thinks that for her to feel good about her self she has to have compliments throghn at her every second of evry day. yet if she recives no compliments she feels horible and wants to do something about it or she will just sit on the couch.

He talks to me online everyday, calls me quite often for short periods in the night and we talk about anything and everything; when i called him, we spoke for about 2 hours; he wants to call all the time, but i told him not to call me (because i'll fall for him) He also texts me often - he seems to make contact with me atleast once a day, whether face to face, online, text message or call.

BUT - he sometimes talks about this turkish girl he fancies, like, telling me about how gorgeous she is and how she's so perfect and "HOT" and how all the guys are after her etc
He usually talks to me about this girl when we are online, because im online quite often...

And i cant understand why a friend would want to call me every night "just to say hello" and end up chatting for 2 hours (not about this girl that often though) or just 10 minutes
Other male friends call me but we never chat for over half an hour!

There's a guy a work who I really like, but I know I can never be with him cos he has a girlfriend. I accept this and we are friends, and realistically I don't think things would work between us romantically - but I just can't seem to stop thinking about him. I really want to be open to other opportunities, but he's always on my mind. How can I 'move on' - please don't tell me to not be friends with him, that's just not possible, I value his friendship too much.

My friend has this best friend whos a guy, and she heard from one of his best friends that he was getting her a necklace for christmas and then he was going to ask her out. but she doesnt want to go out with him, toi her he is just a best friend. also, she doesnt want to reject him on christmas cause she would feel bad. what should she do?

I have a male friend who is white and we have been friends for 5 years now and have always been cool with each other. (I won't use his real name on here, so i'll call him "Jeff"). We met at work and just hit it off and became friends (nothing more) and have always looked out for each other. I got a call from another co-worker friend this morning and he told me that he saw Jeff in a bar last night with some more guys and that they were making racial remarks about this interracial couple that was there. I asked him was he sure because that does not sound like the Jeff i know, and he said he was sitting only a few feet away from them and he heard and saw the whole thing. He said Jeff and his friends used the N-word on more than one occasion. I called Jeff a little while ago to ask him about this but i have not gotten in touch with him yet. I just can't believe this is true because we are close as friends and he's never shown any type of behavior like that. What should i think or do here?

tow of my brothers friends are so mean and they just happen to be brothers so when one comes over so does the other one. I am really nice to them I find them stuff if they cant find it one day I made them breakfast I dont bother them I hardly ever talk to them but they still are really really mean i have comr to the point I dont know If ishould ignore them and let them treat me bad for the rest of there friendship with my brother or just strick back. what do I do

I keep going out with my close female friend,(in touch practically everyday) we go to dinner, lunch together and for drinks in the evening. We’re ATTRACTED to each other, flirt with each other, we’re in touch practically everyday, can only open up too me, feels very comfortable with me, enjoys spending time with me,we trust each other etc.

She doen’t like it when I mention other girls that had caught my eye, she changes the subject ASAP.Recently she thought that I started dating a girl and she ignored me for a week.Was this jealousy or just a coincidence?My behaviour DID NOT change towards her+I'm not actually dating anyone.Was told she is happy for me,why wouldn’t she ask about this girl,seeing she’s a good mate?

I told her how I felt about her and her responses were:

1) "I can't imagine you not being in\a part of my life" MEANING???
2)"I don't deserve your feelings"? MEANING???

DID NOT SAY WE ARE/WILL ONLY FRIENDS.Does she love me??What should I do??

Im still having a problem with a "friend" of mine. On halloween she wanted to egg a really sweet OLD LADYS HOUSE, just because she gave ot rasins. I was totally agenst it and left really early. I thought that it wasn't right. Later that week she started getting snotty. I ignored that and went on being her "friend" (saying hi in the halls, that kind of stuff). Then about a week after she started saying really nasty things behind my back (which if we were friends she totally wouldn't have) and ignoring me at school. Now shes been trying to take all my friends away.

Please don't tell me this is childish, i havn't had anyone do this to me in like 3 years and Im not sure how to deal with it.

Didnt' have time for a short visit at Thanksgiving for you unless you met them at her grandmothers for ten or fifteen minutes. My son (only child) married had one child, a month old when he was killed in a car wreck. Mom is a good gal, remarried, has a new baby, they moved a year ago to Nebraska.....long way from south Texas. I am trying to just ignore the situation and wait till she is older in hopes of some kind of realtionship. Is this unrealistic?

Here's the story.. My husband and I are separated, so I went on line to chat.. Well, the person on the other side was a mutual friend of a guy I like about 20yrs ago. The guy I liked was killed in the MVA, and the driver was critically injuried. Now out of all the people on the intrnet the mutual friend sent me a message. We were chatting and he asked if I new any %$ I said yes. Well, he called my phone and it turned out to be the guy who was critically injuried.
We talked, but now its really freaking me out. Not only do we have and old friend from the past our phone numbers are almost the same... What could be happening here... Help really freaked

i like this guy. he is so sweet to his girlfriends and he is so cute. i love everything about him...
well, the only problem is that he went out with one of my best friends for almost a year. and they still ain't over eachother. i was thinking of asking him out and telling him all of my feeling toward him in about 2 years, enough time to get over eachother. but i am scared if he rejects me or if he thinks im weird or something like that. so please someone! what can i do about my situation?

some people like me,others don't. am extremely lovable but i don't know why others,especially girls don't like me. this is my first year in this new school and i want to make more friends how can i do that??
