Be there to support and protect your mother. There is something dysfunctional about this letter. Your mom needs you now.

ya i would be angry, i mean hey, she's still ur mom. tell ur dad that wasnt the rite thing to do. then tell him,
" if u think of riting a letter to ANYONE like that again, write it on a blank piece of paper, then wait a day, read it again, if ur still mad, wait a week, then read it again. if ur still mad after a week, give it to the person. if u forgive shred it and hope to never see it again. and before u decide to mail it, lemme see it, i'll approve."

It is normal for you to be mad about someone saying mean things to your mom....but that really should be left between them....You are not repsonsible to make it better or whatever.....Just love your mom and be there for her and let her and your step dad work out their own problems.....

You don't KNOW why he said this. She could have done something terribly wrong by him, and this is his reaction. You can't take something like this out of context just because it's your mom.
Yes you need to be on her side, but she may have done something to cause this with him. Be supportive of her, but DON'T judge him either.....not until you know the whole story.

Why are you reading their mail ? you should let them work their own problems out and not involve your self in their problems I'm sure things will work them selfs out if you don't intervein and you shouldn't hate him for something you don't know allot about that's between them and not you...

Give your mother all the support and let the idiot go. tell your mom that she was to good for him anyways. that she will find the right one. as for you to him forget him don't lower yourself to his level. he won't get anywhere in life. but you will.
