My friend has this best friend whos a guy, and she heard from one of his best friends that he was getting her a necklace for christmas and then he was going to ask her out. but she doesnt want to go out with him, toi her he is just a best friend. also, she doesnt want to reject him on christmas cause she would feel bad. what should she do?

then probably she'd better tell him that he's only a friend to her before Christmas... it would be wise to arrange some kind of situation when she could say:"it's good to have such a friend like you"... he should understand...

maybe this friend is you
whent he time comes just tell her to let her real feelings out
nothing bad will happen
their friendship might change a little
but it will change even if she goes out with him
