Umm...confused - everyone's opinion appreciated !!!?
just 3 nights before,i told my 3 month crush that i like him & he replied with a "i would have said yes,but i'm not looking for a relationship right now & i like someone else".he was VERY sweet abt it & we spent an hour talking abt life in general.
now,bear in mind that happened at this youth grp we attend & that was actually the last day of school too.so i won't be seeing him at school for 5 weeks.but i will b seeing him during the hols cos my friends are having a cookout thing at my place & he's coming too(generally,we'll be having a lot of hangouts this season).
ok! so,my question is,how should i act around him,now that he & everyone knows.there's nothing to hide.(i'm usually very shy around him & don't talk to him as much as i do with my other friends but after that conversation,how should i act?)my usual self?like hyper & very friendly?
thanks & ppl,i'm 17 so don't tell me 'go around & play with my barbie dolls'...i'm just learning to face certain challenges.hehe :^)

Act normal, if you are naturally shy around him that's not likely to change now. I wouldn't recommend acting like a bubbly, happy idiot, he'll probably just think you're crazy. Look at it his way, you told him how you feel, he told you how he feels, so your friendship could just grow now that you both know where each other stands. If you can get past his rejection and be okay with just being friends then you're both better off.

As you have said that he was VERY SWEET about saying a NO, then you should return the same to him!
Be as you are now! Telling someone that you like them is very natural and you have said it! Nothing is going to be wrong with that and you always can be proud that you had courage to tell him what you had in your mind!
now you should understand one thing: What ever you are going to do beyond this point will be looked by everyone in a different angle! But at the same time, what you think is most important than anything else!
So just be yourself!

Learn now @ 17 to develop "yourself". You are still finding out who you are. You should have developed a personality by now, especially around others if you have been apart of a youth group. Always be yourself, that way you never forget WHO you are, regardless of WHERE you are or WHOM you are with!

just hang out with him llike you are friends and talk to him. he already knows you like him so the hard part is over. now you get to work your charm and try to make him want you. look cute, use come hither looks, and tease him a bit. eventually if he likes you enough, he will come after you and everything will be good.
and of course if none of that works you can tie him down ans duct tape him....just joking. :)

of course you would act your self. and what do you mean you don't talk to him like you do with your other friends? you did talk to him for an hour didn't you? go ahead be your self. who knows maybe he will realize that he likes you more than he thought.

just be youself and be sweet and dont let it bother you. be friends and who knows maybe he will think about it. but for now be yourself and be kind and happy.
