me and my best friend/roomate haven't been getting along lately and we have another eight months on our lease, i been avoiding her by spending nights elsewhere, please help!

Last year, I felt a little guilty when my friend of five years gave me a gift and I had nothing for her. The issue is that she didn't give me a gift card; she actually gave me something I would like and wear. Now that Christmas time is nearing again, I am anxious because she is really picky about everything. Her clothes always have to be a designer brand and a specific style, and her food and hygiene products have to be totally organic. She is also a big-spender, but the most I can spend is $50-70, as I am on a tight budget. The last time I gave her a gift, it was a purse, and she expressed a little dismay since it was probably not her style.

Is it okay to get her a gift card to one of her favorite clothing stores? OR is there a chance she'll think that :
a) I'm afriad that she won't like a non-card gift I give her
b) I'm too lazy
c) I'm a cheapskate,or
d) that I am not very close to her?
All the above scenarios are definitely NOT what I want her to think

Ok , here is the problem, I'm looking for a friend of mine from high school. This is all I know , that he is now a prison chaplain at a federal prison. I don't know which one or what state he lives in now. Does anyone know how I might be able to find out which prison he is chaplain at so I can get in touch w/ him? Thanks for your help.

Ok i have a big crush on this girl since last week during class time at school, and i do not know how to become her best friend. What else should i do about it? i am not sure what-else should i do about it, although i am still trying to hang out with her or does she think that i am not her type. i am confused about it!

Is maturity a bad thing in a girl?

Let's say she has had a lot more experince in the world than the guy she's dating, so she usually follows her own instinct and is calm and relaxed when it comes to solving problems, is there a guy who would date a girl like this? I have a friend who consistently feels that a guy won't like her because she's calm and relaxed, but due to the circumstances she's been in she feels guys are more interested in girls who are fun to be with. When you're around, to tell you the truth, she's not that fun,but she is an amazing healer. I can go to her if I want to talk to someone to clear my mind. Guys, unfortunately have not been able to "connect" with her. What should I say to her. She's a good frined of mine and I would like her to feel good about herself but its more important that she know the truth. Let me know what you all think about her chances with guys and why?

i have a friend who is in a bad situation. she is dating a married man. she is aware that he is married and he is supposibly getting a divorce. she is only 18 yrs old. i know she is an adult but she acts like a kid. she doesn't use her common sense. she is always missing school for him..she is always running his errands. she pays his bills and she takes care of all his court procedings..etc...she does everything for him. she takes him out to lunch and pays for everything. we talk to her about missing school and paying his bills and she knows it is wrong. she says she loves him and is too attached because she lost her virginity to him.
