I am not sure if this is a mental problem.

For years, i developed syptoms of having difficulties looking people straight in the face during a converstion. Lately this symptoms got worse, that it is affecting my concentration in the conversation.

I could only stares at their faces for a second and i have to turn my eyes to focus on other things.

Once, i tried to look striaght to their face will talking and i realise that i was engross staring to their eyes, lips, eyebrown and others.

Because of this problem, i tend to lose concentration easily.
Especailly to females.

How do i over come this problem?

I really like this girl of our class!

OK...so i just moved to ohio and the first person i met was priscilla...and we are best friends....everything about us is the same...same fav. color...same weight...same exact height...same fav. food...EVERYTHING! but..shes like totally smarter than me...she has a 4.0 grade point average...and school and grades are totally important to me...and i mean before this year i got all A's and B's but i got an F on my social studies test EVEN though i studied..and yesterday i got a D on my science test....and everytime i see her shes on top of everythng.....organized has money...has a BUTT and i dont....i mean...i love myself...(not in a stuck up way) but i dont know what to do!!!!!!!

My friend and I hung out a lot during the summer. But, now I just don't have the time! I have so much stuff to do before Christmas. And, I took on a second job as "holiday help" for extra cash. We're both single and live by ourselves. I have Christmas gifts to make, my family does a lot of things around the holiday, I'm having a holiday party and need to do some major cleaning around my apartment. I tell my friend all of this and she wants me to come over and watch Christmas movies and get drunk with her. I wouldn't be able to have a good time knowing I have so much stuff to do. I suggested that she can help me out a little if she wants to hang out, but she's not interested. She wants to sit around and do nothing. She doesn't have any close family, where as my family has a lot of family traditions around the holidays that I want to be there for. I called her last night & she half- jokingly told me I was a brat for ignoring her. I'm not ignoring her, I'm just busy!

Faking a laugh can be tiring and ache your cheeks. But I don't want to hurt my friend but her jokes are not funny at all. I appreciate her for trying to be funny and light up the conversation. But, I don't see anything funny at all.

Most of all, she's always embarasses herself in public with her lame jokes and I feel bad for her. Help!

Up until 3 months ago I was a happyish individual doing a job I thought was ok, I had a best friend who I was sleeping with, I had my own place to rent and generally interested in my hobbies.

Now i'm just a mess my FWB has left me for another man and I miss her tons and still love her, I've changed jobs and I can't concentrate on the job and I can't do it and I've had to move back home because of problems with the house. I'm so lonely and tearful and feel like no-one cares about me anymore. I'm 24 and mentally I feel about 10 because of my inabilitiy to cope with things. Some days I can pretend to be positive but inside I really miss this woman and I love her so so so much still. I feel as if I am standing on a house of cards and I could lose my job, finish with my course and be very lonely and I wouldn't really care if any of this happened. I know i'm complaining but I can't help it and it's easier to say "move on" than it actually is.

My girlfriend has had a friend longer than I have known her, about 3 months longer. He is her classmate and is constantly pestering her for her notes and answers because he misses class or refuses to do the work. It gets annoying and wish I could smack some sense into the guy. He was once caught for cheating in class, along with a few of his buddies, and I have lost any sense of decency for him ever since. My girlfriend has told me she doesn't like him, but lies about it because I guess she knows that I hate him. When I'm not around she talks to him.

I don't believe I'm jealous about the guy. She has a couple of girl and guy friends that I really enjoy hanging out with, but this guy is the worst. I would rather she tutor the guy instead of give him her notes and answers. It seems dishonorable because I hated cheating or getting help from others. Also it bothers me because I've sacrificed a lot of time tutoring her in the same classes she takes with him.
