Besides breaking up a friendship, the guy is not worth it when he plays both friends. He is just getting his whoppies out of all the attention. What is the winner going to do when he cheats with the other one? my best bud and I always told the other right off the bat, when we liked someone, so the other would stay away from him. This worked for us for years. I finally married, and the deal was over, but it sure saved a lot of unhappiness towards our friendship by letting the other one know. If we both spotted the guy at the same time, we flipped for him or did paper, rock, scissors. If the guy we picked didn't like the one that picked him, then we let the other one take a chance at him if she was still interested. That is how I got my feller. She picked him, I egnored him, he didn't like her, so I got him. Now 40 years later we are still good friends.

That's a hard bullet to bite. There's definately jealousy in the air so the friendship may already be affected. The best thing you can do as a friend is to side with no one and try to let them see what he's doing. It's seems like he's playing them both!

Well, he sounds like a jerk to me, so dont let them ruin a friendship because of him! They both need to get him off of their mind, and look for two seperate guys that are sweet and not jerks. Im sure they both deserve better and if you have to be the one to tell them you should do it, but make sure they know its true and you arent trying to make them hate him.

Just tell your friends what he's doing. Besides, with the way he is acting... I don't understand why they'd want him at all!

No friendship is worth losing over some guy.

One of you needs to say hey you can have him. Friends make sacrifices for each other. I advise both of you to stop liking that boy he is obviously a jerk if he is lying about liking the both of you.

tell your friends what he's doing and then go and tell him that he needs to stop lieing to both of them and figure out which one he really likes... if either of them. And if your friends get mad at you... just know that you did the right thing no matter what they say.

i say friends should come before guys. if he's already lying to both of them now just think about what he's going to do to them when he choices one he will more than likely be a cheater.i say dump the guy and tell them to go find someone else. he's a looser.
