Basically, i've got a cousin who's got a dilemna and doesn't know what to do about her friends:
She's been homeschooled all her life, and last year her parents tried to put her in a private school. She went, and made friend, but only staid a year because of financial problems. When she left, she wanted to stay in touch, but the friends stopped calling or emailing.
Lately however, she's been getting lot of phone calls from them, and she's admitted that her 'friends' were just claling to ask her to do their homework for them. She told me that she doesn't mind, because it's only english hw and it's quite easy for her (she's smart!) but she was really hurt that they only called for hw, she feels she's being used.
She's got a choice between these solutions:
1)Should she tell them right out 1 day on the phone that they've hurt her and explain why,
2)Ignore their calls and/or emails and simply cut off contacts like this
3)Should she go on pretending and stay friends even if she's hurt?

She is extremely rude to others, and tries constantly tries to be the centre of attention. However, whenever my friends and I try to tell her to stop being so rude, she becomes extremely defensive, and makes a point of crying in public afterwards just to get sympathy from strangers- it is really very annoying. She's a spoilt little rich girl who gets anything she wants, and we just don't know how to deal with her. HELP!!!!!
