She is extremely rude to others, and tries constantly tries to be the centre of attention. However, whenever my friends and I try to tell her to stop being so rude, she becomes extremely defensive, and makes a point of crying in public afterwards just to get sympathy from strangers- it is really very annoying. She's a spoilt little rich girl who gets anything she wants, and we just don't know how to deal with her. HELP!!!!! Please, only serious answers about how I can tell her how I feel without causing world war three!!!

She is certainly displaying inappropriate behavior but YOU can't change her. You can however refuse to be manipulated by her "tantrums".

"Mary if you continue to behave in such a childish manner you will not be welcome around me." And stick to it!!

This person needs a wake up call. I suspect she has some very deep emotional scars caused by improper parenting, it would seem. Giving children everything they want is as abusive as neglecting the child. She needed discipline and love to grow up healthy, seems she got everything else EXCEPT what she really needed.

I feel sorry for her, but I still wouldn't participate or even allow that kind of behavior in my presence. Does that make me sound tough, probably. But you should know I have had friends and acquaintances like this and I know it does not help them to let them continue the bad behavior. Which is the most loving thing I can do for any friend.

Good luck.

Peace.

I had a friend like that once. She thought she was soooooo HOT, and any guy that came her way that was not as HOT as she thought, she would get up and walk away from whatever table we were sitting at. If big-boneded girls walked in she is the first one to start talking about them. Needless to say, we are not friends no more, but because of more underlying circumstances, but I'm glad, me and my other friends do not have to embarassed when we go out anymore either, because she was so rude, you could put her in the same category as snobby, she can not meet new people before judging them before they open their mouths. When they do tho, she just disappers, or tells them to f*** off. We don't have to worry about apologizing, for our friends behavior. She never seemed impressed about anything, always un-impressed no matter what you do..I don't know it depends on you. If you feel really, that is your friend though, then that is your friend, but if you feel she is hindering your fun time with your other girls, and yall can't seem to have fun with her around. And you are constantly worrrying about her and how she feels (which is hindering YOUR fun time) Honestly just leave her home. Either you can brutally honest with her, or say you not going anywhere that night. I mean that's all you can do there is really no way around sometime. I'll tell you this, I have a lot more fun when I go out!

Avoid her as much as possible...actions speak louder than words. When she realizes her "friends" are no longer including her in things...she will get the hint that her behavior is unacceptable

cruel to others is cruel to herself also.
she should be councelled when she is not in public about her behaviour. she should be told about sympathy that it is the word of poor but not rich.
its her riches which r coming in attitude. just help her change.
