ive just received a message from my best mate in the whole world saying if i want sex off him then i can, what do i do, im too embarrsed to confront him about it do i just text him and ask him what it was about or pretend that i never got it, i dont wanna hurt him cos he said he was in love with me a few weeks ago and then he text me saying he didnt want see me again and now this text what do i do

You may be embarrassed, but if he truly is your best friend in the whole world, you really need to set this straight. My suggestion would be to tell him that you love him dearly, but you are not in love with him and would not be interested in having a sexual relationship with him. You don't feel that way about him, but you would love to continue your friendship with him. Tell him that it's not a big deal (because he may be embarrassed about the text that he sent you), but you'd like to keep your relationship platonic.
