6.Can two people of the opposite sex have a really strong friendship that comes as close to love,except for the romance part?

Q 1) I think overall friendships should be valued higher than relationships .... but I'm talking "die for you" friendships ...which as a btw exactly the relationship I'm in :)

Relationships come and go, friends are forever! Both are enjoyable for very different reasons. In either situation, you should be comfortable with being yourself completely, at all times. I think romantic relationships are the most important. You're partner should mean everything to you. You shouldn't have to act in front of you're partner like you might do with friends. I did have a friendship with someone of the opposite sex, but she was a lesbian so there was never going to be anything romantic, which I suppose made it easier to be friends.
