She gave a really lame excuse for not coming to my wedding, she didn't even send me an RSVP nor did she send me a wedding card saying "congratulations". We haven't spoken since she told me she wasn't coming - that was in August. I e-mailed some wedding photos to her and she hasn't commented on that either! I am hurt at the way she has treated me.

what if people are making advances at you and when you want to find out it is said that you got them all wrong and that they were trying to be friends...you know that they were trying to seduce you but they won't own it up

Basically, I had the chance to spend time with a couple of new friends, but I turned them down since I had another obligation. Now I really regret doing that, but I can't get in touch with them again. I've called twice in the last week or so, left a message once.
They seem busy and sort of forgetful, and it's hard to get a person on the line. (This is why I hate talking to answering machines and voice mail boxes.) I'm not sure if they just forgot my message, or are intentionally ignoring me. They both seemed like nice people, so the latter situation doesn't make much sense.
I thought about calling again after a few days. Any advice?

I am very upset ..i have lost my friend..bcz people told her about me wrong things...and we have left each other...its very hard for me with out her...and its same for her...but we dont understand what to do....its getting me more upset ...day to day...

Someone i care about alot is on drug like the ones that can kill you and he tryed everything but its not working and it kill me to watch him go down the wrong road i just wanted to know is there anything i can do for him???????? Or at least get him offf!!!!!!!! It would mean alot to me !!!!!!!!!!

I met my close female friend at the wkn and I told her how I felt. She told me that we would never be together and would only remain friends. When I asked her for her reasons--she could not give any concrete answers. Some excuses were:

1)We have very different views and would not be compatible-I told her that is what makes our friendship so good and that we spend so much time together that it doesn't matter.
2)Her view of a relationship is what we already do(apart from physical), so I asked would it be that wrong to add the physical aspect to it.She said NO, but that it wouldn't feel right-what does this mean?
3)She said we wouldn't work out as a couple but said she does not know why--has got a feeling,would not even give it a try.
4)Said I'm attractive,but its just ME as a whole that she does not see herself being with.What's this mean?

Is not scared of commitment/relationship/ruining the friendship if we went further+failed.

What should I do?Really no chance EVER?

I have been with my girlfriend for forever and a day. I love her. she is the most perfect woman for anyone (athletic, intelligent, no games, tells it like it is, perfect body(size 4-6, 35C-25-36) and knows how to get herself off in bed.) Then why do i have feelings for her best friend?
She is the polar opposite. (not athletic, kind of a slob, and she is a bbw (size 14-16, 34DD).
the things i like about her: she is sarcastic, a great mother to her daughter, beautiful face and eyes that pierce the soul. I like the fact that she allows herself to be frail (emotionally and physically). Over the 10 years I've known her I think i have fallen in love with her. She makes me nervous when i'm around her and i find myself doing the little things that a boyfriend should do for her.
the things that i do: i pay attention to the little needs she wants. late night ice cream, monthly chocolate desserts for that time of the month and nightly footrubs till she falls asleep.

I have 2 best friends who I worship, but sometimes I feel like they don't quite want to be my friend anymore. They both have little sisters who my sister likes to hang out with, and whenever my little sister hangs with one of their sisters, my two friends hang out witout me. I get sad, and lonely, but I never confront them or ask them about it in fear that they will tell me that they really don't like me. I am so sad, because one of these girls has been my friend since I was 5 and I am almost 14. The other is just a super fun person to be around and I have known her for a while. I can be really fun and excitable and enthuistic and sometimes I can be a little down and sad when I am around them and feel left out. I havent talked to them in about 5 days, I have emailed them, but I didn't go to school yesterday because I was sick and didn't see them there. I would be very heart broken if something ever seperated me from my best friends. They know me the best!!! Can someone please help me??

Love is always worth giving, and it's more valuable than any tangible present. I know this. Presents are a corporeal way of sharing with my friends, and I'm always happy to give to them. It makes me happy because they know I love them, don't get me wrong. It's just, after a year or two of getting no presents of any sort (even though I've given, well, many), you kind of wish they would reciprocate.

My mother says it's not worth giving presents because none of them give back. I'm not sure why they don't- they're my friends, just as I am theirs. Maybe they have a no-present policy that I'm fighting against.

Ron used to work for the Air Force Base in Geilenkirchen close to the Dutch border, and they used to live in Brachelen a small German village in the very west of North Rhine Westphalia,Germany, at least 15 years ago. As they kept moving around we lost track of them and would be very happy to know how every one was doing.

I have a lot of trouble making friends, I seem to be able to get along well with people I work with but can never get the relationship to the friend stage or further if I'm interested.

But I have managed to get 7-8 people to agree to go to an activity in a few weeks. Obviously these are all people I get along with. What's the best way of asking for these people's numbers? I can't do it in front of everyone so should I email them a few days later and tell them I had a good time and would like to hang out again?

Two years ago at my last highschool where I attended for two years from the age of 13-15 I was bullied and harrassed by the people at my school. One of the main ringleaders who was a complete two faced biarch made my life hell and was extremely manipulative and mean. Everyone in my year hated me but she was definately one of the worst. I would go home and cry myself to sleep everynight and didn't ever want to go back. Now after making the decision to leave after realising I had no friends left at that school, I still have people yell abuse at me in town, give me evil looks or diss me really loudly. I used to stand-up for myself at first, but since there was only one of me, and always lots of them it was impossible to win, and teachers always took their side, because lets face it, who believes one person? I considered commiting suicide several times, thinking I was worthless, ugly, stupid and inferior to everyone on this planet. To be continued in next part...
