Friends - October 2006

In college there was this guy (I say was because he is no more) I dint talk to him much but he helped me once or twice in class and he sat directly behind me... I dint know his address until yesterday when I heard that he was killed in an accident should i go to his place considering that it is across town from where I stay?? But the real prob. is that some of my friends are going b'coz they live comparatively near by

Oh and an answer from a hindu costom point of view would be appreciated

As a youth at the age of 13, I was left only to the dark and miserable downtown streets of my city. I am 20 now and trying to leave the terrible memories behind. In doing so, I cut myself off from all the "street" friends I aquired during those years. Now my life has changed. I haven't had any real friends for almost a year. My free time consists of watching T.V. , surfing the net and reading books, all of course at home. I want to make new friends, but I am not sure if after all these years I will attract the same breed of friends I had before. How can I make a true, genuine friend? This may seem silly to most who take friends for granted, but this is all to serious and I need some advice.

It seems like I have a lot of friends' but when it comes time for lunch or before school I'm pretty much trying to grab my guy friends' attention, or trying to make a conversation with Caitlyn. Most of my friend are guys, and they are football players, skaters, punks so they are pretty rough, and they are hard to talk to period. The push each other, and it feels like I'm in the line of fire. They ignore we just to beat each other up, and my friends who are girls just want to stand there, and talk about people. So it's a lose lose situation. The thing is we are true friends they have always been there for me, but when they get together it's like I don't know who they are, but talking to them 1 on 1 is easier. So I'm pretty much with this one girl chloe all day. Help me I don't want to limit myself one person, or talk about people, or get pushed around by huge football players. I'm kinda stuck.

I'm in 8th grade. Last year when I was in 7th grade, I wasn't the most mature girl, and I was kind of an airhead. I really annoyed the 8th graders, but started to get my act together at the end of school. They made fun of me and were really mean to me. I have matured A LOT since then. Now those kids are freshman, and go to another school. Last night I went to their highschools homecoming game. My friend's were in the same area as them. I didn't acknowledge them, I just held my head up, and pretended they weren't there. Well then they started to call my cellphone, and call me manbearpig (from Southpark) they called me this lastyear too. They kept calling me, and saying I was scary. They are really annoying me, and making me upset. I didn't anwser my phone, or look at them I ignored them and kept hanging out with my friends. I don't want to go to highschool now because of those kids. Since last night they won't leave me alone! Theyre mean they dont undersatnd I've matured. So please HELP

I used to hang out with people I grew up with and discovered they wern't loyal. And that is very important to me and I think everyone. I haven't really made "real" friends ever since then..and I'm starting to feel as though I will never make new friends that will last. 2 years ago my best friend was going out with this guy they went out for 8 monthes then broke up. Now, 2 years later me, my best friend and him started to hang out. She still likes him even though he's completly over her. Now he likes me which is kinda a problem because that depresses her even more. She blames everything on me and get's mad at me every night if i talk to him. he says the cutest things to me, but i need a best friend more than a boyfriend even though now i'm starting to really like him. Should i do what she says and stop talking/ hanging out with him? I feel like i shouldnt have to choose but when she's mad the things she says to me makes me feel guilty. Please help!

i knew this guy for about 2 years but we been friends/ girlfriend/ boyfriend, he loses his job every few months and needs help with rent, of course i help him cause he is a wonderful person but it is hard somethimes to tell him no all he really has is me, i'm sure he can handle himself with out me, i really like hanging out with him and he is always to busy looking for a job, but he sits at his brothers house or friends house and can't come see me when i want him to, its always when he wants to i need help to try to figure it out what i should do cut him loose or keep him around for other things

there is this guy that i like at school but we just meet and 4 first semester we r in 2 hours together.he keeps staring at me during 4th hour and sometimes 3rd but he told my friend that he likes some1else(i don't no.my friend promised him but said its not me)
