Problems with freshman?

I'm in 8th grade. Last year when I was in 7th grade, I wasn't the most mature girl, and I was kind of an airhead. I really annoyed the 8th graders, but started to get my act together at the end of school. They made fun of me and were really mean to me. I have matured A LOT since then. Now those kids are freshman, and go to another school. Last night I went to their highschools homecoming game. My friend's were in the same area as them. I didn't acknowledge them, I just held my head up, and pretended they weren't there. Well then they started to call my cellphone, and call me manbearpig (from Southpark) they called me this lastyear too. They kept calling me, and saying I was scary. They are really annoying me, and making me upset. I didn't anwser my phone, or look at them I ignored them and kept hanging out with my friends. I don't want to go to highschool now because of those kids. Since last night they won't leave me alone! Theyre mean they dont undersatnd I've matured. So please HELP

All you can do is just continue to ignore them. Don't let it get to your head. When they make fun of you, don't retalliate, just kind of be a smartass and agree with them. That's what I do. If someone calls me a queer or something like that, whether they are serious or not, I just say "Yeah, you're right." I don't let it bother me. I know I'm not gay so they can say whatever they want, but I know it's not true.

i really feel for you. i'm now 20 and well out of high school, but i know what you're going through. to be honest, there really isn't much you can do except ignore them - and i know that is so cliche to say and it kills me...but it's so true. forget about them for the rest of this year...don't even worry about it. you're in 8th grade and should be worrying about this year, not next...but when you do go next year remember these two things:
1. they'll be sophmores next year and hopefully they'll have mature as well and won't bother themselves with picking on younger students because it's just not cool to pick on people once you reach a certain age group.
2. you're more mature, so once they see you on a daily basis they'll know this and hey, maybe even want to be your friend.
i also hope your friends are good enough to stick with you and help you through this, because them it won't even matter.

ps - my boyfriend was picked on by his entire school and called a loser all of his life...now he's 24 i'm 20 and we own a bar together...all those kids that called him a loser are now asking him for a job and wanting to call him boss!! good luck, darling...and don't worry once high school gets over with you get to leave ALL the drama of it behind.

Wow, you have matured..I mean, you did the best thing you can do in a situation like that!
They just didn't like the fact that you were not being bothered..
(on the outside) by their teasing..
Keep ignoring them, and avoiding them, and they'll eventually leave you be!
Stay away from them, and be the mature one..They'll only make themselves look bad that way!

that sounds terribly immature of the freshman to treat you the way that they do. my advice is to go on ignoring them and they will eventually get bored. the only reason they tease you is to make themselves feel better. please don't let this get to you because you sound like good person. so, go on living your life, ignore them, enjoy the company of your real friends and someday when they serve you lunch at mcdonald's you will have the last laugh ;)

you need to stand your ground. so they arent really aware that you have matured, so you should tell them! and then, they'll get off your back. if they dont, ignore/avoid them. they r complete jerks and nobody deserves to b treated like that!
