When your friends have a problem are u there for them? do u offer them condolenses and hope the best for them? my friend's brother wrecked the car and came home and towed the car and her dad is so mad, he made her stay at home too and she was spost to take her sis trick or treating and now she cant. but i'm here for her to talk since i know she must feel bad. so my main question is, are u there for ur friends when they need u?

I have this friends (guy) and I used to like him and wanted him to ask me out, then I got to know him more and got over it although I still considered him a friend. He's really fun, but when he left the class he was in with me, I saw less and less of him, so I got over the whole "crush thing" every time I do see him, we'll probably talk and walk and just joke around. Nothing special.....afterwards (cause we usually walk to the busses because our lockers are close to eachother) I can't stop thinking about him. Then I get over it and he's just a friend........IDK WHAT TO THINK!!!!! I really don't think I like him but ehy can't I stop thinking about him only "sometimes".....??? I'm confused.

Cause we talk to each other pretty much everyday, and he either wasn't at school or he probably didn't want to talk to me. Do you think that he still likes me, even though we didn't talk to each other or sit by each other?

We have been friends since 2nd grade but the longer we are friends, the harder it is to tolerate her. For example, if you are talking to her, she totally ignores you...but if she is talking...you have to drop everything and look right at her the entire time.....and i have missed 10 days of school to her 1 (all covered by doctor mind you) and she is beating me in class by 0.4...that's POINT four! i'm fine with that but she wont shut up about it.....i would be happy for her if she would just talk about it once and let it go..but she runs her mouth til i cant take it and then calls me jealous. she's just very rude. How should i handle this?

I'm chronically ill and there is a risk that I could die. I have a daughter that I love more than anyone in the world and I want my friends to be there for her if I do die. How can I write them each a letter without a) freaking them out - or b) looking like a drama queen? I want them to be involved in my daughters life because I respect their views and opinions, care and love them as friends and want a link. I moved away from London to Cornwall about 5 years ago and so I don't see my pals so much as I would like - we'r eno longer around the corner from each other.

ok...so i have a house. And I have a roommate who moved in...with 3 kids. his kids have a rat. the rat keeps on getting out of its cage and coming into my room (actually into my bed) at night. its is so freaking disgusting!! I didnt even say that he could have a rat. So anyways in my house we have a wood box and the rat has been staying in there for the past 2 weeks (even though I told my roommate to get rid of it). Yesterday I came home by myself and I looked in the woodbox and there was no rat. It got out of the wood box..I dont know how but it did. Today he left me a message saying "i know that the rat did not get out of the wood box be honest what did you do with it"...by the way in the past I've told him that I was going to get rid of it if he didnt.which he never did. So i think that he thinks that I did something with it but really I have no clue where it is at either. What should I say to him???

We can't agree. I keep telling her, if someone is not calling her, she shouldn't call them. I feel like communication should work both ways, and if a person really want to keep in touch they will, it's plain and simple. People call who they want to call, just leave them alone.

It's sixth grade, hence the title. I'm considered the "rebel," of my class, the one who doesn't follow the latest fashion craze, the one who wears what she likes. And I'm probably the only one who likes reading and writing class, and P.E at the same time, and the only one who thinks it's wrong to date boys in sixth grade, and I prefer to date when I go to highschool. Well, you see, there was this guy and he said he wanted to "go out with me." And another guy did the same thing, and now I'm caught up between two people, and they're both my friends but I don't really....feel anything for either of them - except of course friendship. I don't want my grades to drop buat they're hounding me every day, and sometimes I can feel my mind wandering to "that" particular subject in a few of my classes. HELP!

The other night I was out with my friend. He was REALLY drunk and a woman walked by and he made some horrible comments about how fat she was. Stuff like " Man, I wonder if she can fit through the door". I was horrible. I am rather fat and it hurt me that he would say something like that. I mentioned it and his excuse was that the woman was no where near as fat as me, I actually think she was thinner than me. He got pissy because he thinks I was trying to pick a fight and he thinks I have BDD anyways. Even if he's right and I am not as fat as that woman, am I wrong to be offended by that. I was really hurt becasue I keep thinking that's what people must say about me when I go out and what would he do if someone said that about me? Would he just laugh right along with them?

My friend is a girl, she is 19 and pregnant, and I am 21 and in a very perfect relationship with a wonderful man that is 35. My friend is just dating of and on w/ the guy that got her pregnant. When we hang out together she sometimes gets touchy with me and lingers on me 2 long when we hug. Could she be trying to tell me that she might be bi? How do I handle this? I am NOT interested, and I also don't want to hurt her feelings or ruin the friendship by blowing her off. Any suggestions on what to do?

My friend had two alcoholic parents. One died from alcoholism at 45, the other is in out of jail because of drunk driving.

My friend is 24 and has been drinking a lot since high school, she has slept with guys she doesn't know when she is drunk and doesn't remember them.

She blacks out and sometimes gets overly flirty with her husband's friends.

She doesn't drink during the week, but drinks a lot on the weekends. She drinks 3 or 4 beers to start with and then drinks jack daniels with coke until she is being loud and obnoxious.

Her husband thinks she has been drinking more since they hit the rocks.

Do you think this behavior is a problem? This is what she does EVERY weekend. She will not hang out with her friends without drinking. She gets defensive about her drinking and says she is just hanging out and having fun.
