It's sixth grade, hence the title. I'm considered the "rebel," of my class, the one who doesn't follow the latest fashion craze, the one who wears what she likes. And I'm probably the only one who likes reading and writing class, and P.E at the same time, and the only one who thinks it's wrong to date boys in sixth grade, and I prefer to date when I go to highschool. Well, you see, there was this guy and he said he wanted to "go out with me." And another guy did the same thing, and now I'm caught up between two people, and they're both my friends but I don't really....feel anything for either of them - except of course friendship. I don't want my grades to drop buat they're hounding me every day, and sometimes I can feel my mind wandering to "that" particular subject in a few of my classes. HELP!

If you don't want to go out,just tell them that you're not ready to date yet,and to come ask you out in high school. If they really like you,they will understand.
Grade 6 is too young to date,anyways.
and dont worry-im a rebel,too! I like to think that im unique,and not a follower.

okay....as a 9th grade guy..ive been thru some of this not TOO long ago. haha. it seems like you are in love, and u are just trying to shake it off like it is nothin.... in 6th grade, relationships arent really anything BIG or SPECIAL.....they usually just drop anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks later. if you know ANY 6th grader dating a guy more than 3 weeks, they prly are MADLY in love, Just Pretending to be in love to keep going out, or just damn lucky for the time being.. i say that you should decide between the guys and give it a chance....then in a week try the other guy, cuz i know it wont last.

Forget about the boys for a second. Stay true to yourself. Think of yourself as maybe a movie star or hero, and think "what would I do?" as if you're looking for what a superstar or relative or some other hero might do, but really you're figuring out what you yourself would do. dont worry....these kinds of relationships dont matter in the least....ur only in sixth grade
once you get to high school, you'll face many more difficulties than these

just tell them that you think of them as friends and you don't want to date until your older ! ! !
if they are really your friends and care about you they can wait for you until you are ready to date ! ! !
