Can I really believe it when my boyfriend tells me that he'll love me forever and ever? We've only been dating for a few months now, but he's already promised me his loyalty and love.

All right. We broke up because in SIX MONTHS I'm going to college. His idea. He doesn't want it to "hurt" when I go away in the fall, He still has feelings for me, though. And he's just real depressed about it, but whenever I talk to him he keeps on telling me its best for us to break up. I am not handling it very well because I have never loved someone so much. I still am very in love with him. I just want to spend as much time as I can with him before I go away.

I know there are a select few of you out there who will just tell me to forget about him and to move on but I would appreciate you don't answer in that way...

because my question is: what can I do to make him think otherwise? I have already tried explaining to him numerous times all the obvious answers out there, i.e., let's just let a good thing last, and i have even offered to still be in the relationship with him when i go away. hes just so afraid.

what can i do/say to make him come back to me?

We are both 16 and she ran away from home last night and is staying at one of her female friends house. Her dad recently returned from Iraq and they've had a lot of arguments and he's been drinking quite a bit. She ran away after a particularly bad argument, according to her friend. She has been listening to this song called Runaway Love a lot and she keeps telling me how good and sad it is. The songs lyrics talk about young girls being abused by their fathers and unhappy. I didn't read anything into it because she hasn't seemed depressed or anything, and i haven't noticed any bruises or cuts. I haven't had the chance to talk to her yet. I'm male and a close friend of hers but not her boyfriend. We talk a lot about private things and our pasts and im quite sure that she trusts me a lot.

Basically i want some advice on how to ask her if her Dad has ever hit her, how to to do it so she won't feel like she has to lie if he does and how to tell if she's telling the truth.

According to a certain belief, if you blow yourself up in His name you will receive 72 virgens as a reward. Boy, I'd hate to see that guy's to-do list when he gets there. The average guy can't stand walking into a room with more than five females in
it yakking away without bracing himself first with a few shots of ol' Redeye. Why would he want 72 of them around all the time.

it all goes back a year ago when he held me one night till I fell asleep,he was so sweet,i was still upset at catching my x of a few years cheating(they r mutual friends)I have thought about him every day for the past year and here and there saw him at parties(we have mutual friends)I finally called him a month ago and told him he was eating me alive,he said it was mutual and he thinks im so beautiful and he had no idea i felt that way,but he started seeing someone a month ago and said its only fair he tells me,but he wished he knew I liked him,so i told him to tell me to let it go and he said he cant.I ran into him a couple weeks after that phone call and we were like magnets the whold night,we started kissing and could not stop until i realized he had a girlfriend and told him we had to stop.Again he said he wished he knew i liked him and told me he thinks im the cutest girl in the world,i told him we would be friends because im not'that girl',he again said he wished he knew.

He's a teacher's son but I dont have the same feelings for him and he doesnt know I know he likes me. He acts shady when my girl friends ask him do he like me. His guy friends are all ways picking on him and he loves to mess with me. I just dont like him as a boyfriend thats gross. I just like him as a friend. we fight ..... a lot.... and i HATE fighting. i love him with all my heart and he loves me with all of his. i could never imagine my life without him ... he means to WORLD TO ME! we've been dating for 2 1/2 years.... i jusst want to stop arguing as much...

I am verbally abused,no job(housewife/mom) need hysterectomy-waiting to get surgery,I don't really want advise as much as I need to know if anyone else get's belittled daily? ignored, shood away when your talking ?etc.?? I am not financially set to leave at present, guess I need to know I'm not alone in this,getting very depressed w/ all I put up w/ he drink's too, does'nt help. Significant other....

Well does that mean chances are they're not heterosexual?
Instead of a girl saying my boyfriend..or girl saying boyfriend...if a girl says my s/o or boy say that could that mean they mean a person of the same sex?
