I'm 16 and im a female...I recently broke up with my boyfriend of about 2 months because his brother was giving me proof about him doing stupid things with his female friends...Anyways i really like this guy from school...Hes really good friends with my best friend...They talk about me at their karate class and he seems intereseted in me but he has a girlfriend that also goes to karate....Anyways my best friend said that he doesnt really like his girlfriend...i really dont know what to do in this situation...Have any suggestions?

I feel so weird. i like this guy a lot and everytime i see him i get butterflies in a good way. i get soo nervous too. he makes me feel so good and makes me laugh and smile all the time. he makes me feel so much better than my ex ever did. can anyone tell me like what emotion this could be or is it just something that i have to deal with. i like the butterflies, but not all the time. what is this?? i think i know, but i wanted to ask to get other advice and thoughts.

when she was a child growing up. I have done all I can to win her approval! I have never tried to replace her mother. I tried to be a friend to her when she needed it and when I see she is accepting it, she all of sudden pulls back!! In the past she has reminded me out loud that I am not her mother! she has always argued they way I try to raise her?? she is now 29 and still disrepect me! we grew into a hate love relationship. I leave all conversations to her father. In the present she has blamed her father for how her life is today?

I think I need some help here, We are thinking of moving my 89 yr old father in with us. I asked my husband first if it was ok with him and that I wanted a truthfull answer because it is his home too and he said " that will be fine" but in the next breath he says, What about the grandchildren they won't be able to spend the night anymore, I just don't think you have thought of the negative things to the move". I told him that I had weighed the neg and postive and I thought it would work but if he had any reservations at all I needed to know them, then he said no I told you its ok. To me I see this as a two sided answer, is that wrong? I think he wants to please me by saying yes its ok when he really doesn't want it to happen. If they are other people around he says "You don't listen to a thing I have to say, you just ignore me, I told him no I was not ignoring him I was listening to what someelse had to say. He has to have my undivided attention is that why he is against this?

Shortly after my mother-in-law met my parents she pulled me aside to tell me how much she hated fat people and told me that she thought fat people were disgusting; my father is obese. She then wanted to organise further gatherings with my family for Christmas and other occasions. I have told my husband that I will never allow his mother anywhere near my parents ever again. How do you tell the difference between love that is eventually nurtured and "love at first sight" kind of love? Is there no such thing as the latter in reality? I know of couples who start off as fireworks and always remain as fireworks..and couples who eventually start to have sparks after learning to love each other..(for example, in arranged marriages) is that not true love then?
