do you break up with your boyfriend if you think / know he will break up with you soon so you can get it over with?... or do you wait and see how eveything turns out and just suck it up if he breaks up with you?

hi all i had sex with my ex boyfriend on our first date and by the way i was the one who made the first moved i was older than him for 5 years after we had sex in the motel (he was the one who asked for sex and paid for the motel) i asked him if he likes me then he said yes after 3 weeks i called him then went out again our relationship lasted for 2 years but no commitment at all we seldom see each other we had sex less than 10 times we dont talk about our relationship you know what i mean my question is do you think this guy only wants me in bed and one more thing is i always give him gifts and i did not receive anything except for the roses he gave to me after i gave him an expensive gift hes the one who broke up with me he ended his relationship with me he said we need to stop this what do you think guys can i call him my ex boyfriend or not because we do not have any commitment he can do whatever he wants and i can do too please help me i just want to know if he just wants SEX only

today my boyfriend broke up with me because these girls were telling him a bunch of things that weren't true... everything was going great...yesterday we even had out first kiss but today after talking to one of the girls trying to break us up, he came up to me and broke up with me, i was kinda of sad but not terribly sad. i just went on with my day as usually, but he looked REALLY DISTURBED like he never wanted to break up with me, it was weird. I have a friend, but she's not close friend. But i often heard about her from my male friends. She often calls most of male friends she knew from web or anywhere. Even some friends (that i know they are quite good looking) have been called by her everyday more than three times a week, just for chitchat. She once seems have falled in love with one of those but so depressed when she knew that the guy has gf already (which then she claimed that the guy has betrayed her, and she's really really sad). At the time she looked so depressed, I have tried to approach her to cheer her up but she refused. Toward women, she seems rude. I know she's lonely and really seeks for a boyfriend.

I have had this problem since as long as I can remember. When people first meet me they don't like me. They usually don't even say a word to me to have anything to base their dislike on. I am extremely shy so I can't just go up to people and start a conversation so I am assuming they take my shyness as snobiness? We can go to parties and I am the one all by myself with no one to talk to. I am almost 30 and I look like I am about 16. I get asked what grade I am in a lot. LOL I have 2 kids, so when we go to functions with them, it is almost a relief because at least I have them to hang out with. What can I do to be more outgoing and get people to talk to me? It is usually the women that ignore me. Men are usually pretty friendly. But women are a different story. Once they actually get to know me we end up being good friends, but since we are a military family we move around a lot and so we have to keep meeting new people. It's not an easy thing.
