Someone please give me some tips. I am really downa bout my ex and even found out some more information about him over the weekend, pics of him and his baby's mother kissing and hugging and the pictures were dated while we were together, I am so hurt now and i feel like our whole relationship was a lie. I am very sad recently while celebrating Chinese New Year,finally l realized l have a scary mom,a selfish and stubborn lady who never care of her daughter's feeling.....l am sad.....we can have a happy family still even though my dad left us when l was 5,but because of my mom's character,l lost family.Now l understand why my dad left,l have been suffering for so many years,l really dont know how to accept her as my mom.....how？

When she walks past-she lowers her head as she passes me(She's the only girl who does this in the office-no one else does),other times she smiles and we make eye contact. GOOD SIGN???

When her friends walk past-they sometimes look at me+smile+stop talking.Then they suddenly start talking again as soon as they pass me!!!The same happens during lunch occasionly.GOOD SIGN???

I sent her a valentine card(don't know its me) and my mate said that her friends were talking about it. The next day she sat at a table(which was empty) behind me at lunch, even though she passed 5-6 empty tables to get there!!!We just kept looking at each other,smiling and making eye contact.A coincidence???GOOD SIGN???

Not spoken to her yet-work in different departments, I don't deal with her at all.How can I get talking to her??

seeing parents screaming at and smacking young children out in public.
i dont mean a little tap,im on about a full blown whack.it upsets me.
when i was in town on the weekend,i man was shouting at his daughter really loud over something petty,then all of a sudden, he whacked her full force across the face.she was about 4 at the most.there were a lot of shocked people but,no-one said or done anything.including me,im ashamed to say.i feel awful thinking about it now.
what do you think?

I've be a sahm for 6 years now... is it possible to become burnt out after a while? I'm stuck in the house most days in D.C. with a toddler and an infant. Yes, there is tons to do; however, if the baby sees me moving around, working or exercising (doing anything productive) she clings to me, so I find myself having to settle for tv watching, computer using, childs play. Yes, I enjoy playing with the kids, but after a while I become bore with that. So any advice from other sahm on how to keep a good attitude when opposition is keeping you from doing what you'd rather be doing?

The situation is this: I like a guy, and he invited me on a date on saturday. The problem is that he is best friends with this girl who doesnt like me too much, its not me, she doesnt really like any other girls, and gets on better with guys. I know he has got with her a couple of times, and she is very possessive. Im scared she will make it difficult for me to date him. I met him cause we went on a class trip and he came too, invited by her, but we got on really well. Should i back out now, before I begin to care too much about him, or just go with it and see what happens. I really like him, but I dont want to have to get involved with her. They are best friends and she stays over at his a few times a week.

im in year 8 of high school and all my mates have started smoking, im being left out as usual but now more so. first of all my enemy started smoking. Then she became friends with my mates so now they have started aswell and i want to start smoking but i dont in a way. my friends also said if they ever started smoking i could kill them, should i hold them to it? should i start smoking? should i not?
