The situation is this: I like a guy, and he invited me on a date on saturday. The problem is that he is best friends with this girl who doesnt like me too much, its not me, she doesnt really like any other girls, and gets on better with guys. I know he has got with her a couple of times, and she is very possessive. Im scared she will make it difficult for me to date him. I met him cause we went on a class trip and he came too, invited by her, but we got on really well. Should i back out now, before I begin to care too much about him, or just go with it and see what happens. I really like him, but I dont want to have to get involved with her. They are best friends and she stays over at his a few times a week.

Oh and by "got with her" I mean they have kissed and stuff, not had sex. They were drunk.

It's really up to you and him if you should persue this further. Why should you get her approval, you're not going out with her. Now, if she gets jealous because you go out with him, then there is more to what they are telling you. That's when I would back off.

Don't put yourself in that situation. You'll find better, and you won't have to deal with this female headache. Besides, if you have to ask, perhaps your involvement with him will not be a good idea to begin with.

They got drunk and kissed, huh? Are you sure he would tell you if they had had sex?

If she's just a friend what's the problem If he likes you and you like him see what happens either way your going to have to deal with her but if he cares about you he will tell her to leave you alone She probably is protective of him so he doesn't get hurt Ask him if she is just a friend or girlfriend Fight for what you want don't be afraid Have respect for her be her friend try to get along don't worry

Seems like you are in a stickiy situation,you alredy have put yourself there before you came to ask us.Think about two girls and one guy.See if that works for you.And that will be your answer.

If he really likes you he won't care what his friend thinks of you. Maybe make an effort to get along with her or at least try to be friendly.

Well if you really liek him I dont think you need to let her mess with you. Yes she IS his best bud then dont worry their only freinds..... But you have to respect that she WAS there 1st...
