Well I am 17 and am getting married to my girlfriend in May and want to ask for for your alls opinions. My mother (my biologicial mother, not my adoptive one who I have no relationship with anymore) is very religious and would like for me and my fiancee to marry in a church with my fiancee in a white dress and me in white tuxedo. I disagree. First I dont want a church wedding I am not religious (I do beleive in God though)and can not afford a wedding in church. I would prefer a wedding at the courthouse. Also the white dress. I am obviously not a virgin I have a 3 year old daughter who lives with me (my fiancee is not her mother) and I live with my fiancee as well and it is not platonic either (between my fianccee and me). My fiancee doesnot want a white dress because she is not a virgin either as we have had sex before plus both of us have had sex with others. So white would be a lie for us to wear. Any one have any opinions on these two subjects?

i really want to show my bf that i love him but we have only been together for about a month 1/2. what are some ways (other than sex) that i can show him? guys your advice would be appreciated as well! i think it is too soon to say "i love you" even though i want to really bad.

I have been in a relationship for 10 years, we are not married. He doesn't believe in marriage, I do. Problem is I love him so very much and do not want to break up, however everytime we fight he tells me I am fat, disgusting, fat pig, gross, lazy, worthless, and many other demeaning comments. I tell him it hurts me and gets us off topic from what the original fight was, I do not verbally insult him back because my conscience will not allow it, plus I don't think it helps a situation. What do I do, if in 10 years he has not stopped, nothing I do works, and I am not yet ready to break up.

Before I got married last year, I was already holding a B1/B2 Visa.My husband did not sponsor me nor make any change for my visa status (although he is a citizen, he lacks some legal papers to sponsor me) and now we are in the verge of divorce. I wanted to stay married and hoped for a complete family, but I cant stay married with someone who is abusive in many ways. My children from my previous marriage are here studying and I dont want to abruptly stop them from finishing their studies. The school day ends in May 2007. Any suggestions?

Well this morning my mom had to go to work early. I woke up late. At 8;00. And i have to be at my bus stop by 8;30. Before she left she told me you better go to school today i dont want to hear you didnt go. That's mostly becasue i was sick a lot and i alrealy have many absences, but they were all excused so its not a problem. But anyway i missed the bus becasue i couldnt put my contacts in and i forgot to take my cold medicine so i had to go back and so on... but what should i tell my mom?

I made friends with a guy at my new job. We where sending funny emails back and forth to each other. Well he sent a very inapropriate response asking if something turned me on and while my husband was in my email looking for something, that response came in as a new email. My husband thinks I am having an affair with this guy or at least talking to him like I am. I am not attracted to this other guy in any way thaught we where just friends. I sent him a reply that his response was not appropriate, and to no longer send me emails but my husband thinks I am just trying to cover myself. I have never cheated or had any intentions to cheat. I love my husband very much. What can I do to get him to believe me?

My boyfriend broke up with me. We are both in our 30's and I thought I'd finally found the man I'd spend the rest of my life with. We didn't have a big fight or argument. It was a calm break up but my heart feels like it's been ripped in two. We decided to spend one last day together, yesterday. It was a great day! He asked me to bring my girls (I have 3) by on Saturday so he could talk with them and say good bye. It's going to be very difficult for all of us. My daughters love him. I'm not looking forward to it. Yet when he was leaving he smiled at me and told me he would talk with me before Saturday. Even after I told him that it would be too hard to keep in contact and not be together. I'm thouroughly confused! Part of our problem is communication. I don't know if he's wanting to try to make it work or if he's playing games with me. He hasn't been a game player in the past. I don't know what to think. Your opinions are appreciated! Thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 4 months and are having a baby together. I know that he continues to talk to his ex wife, who is basically dying due to all types of different illness. They divorced a year ago afer being together for 2 years; they divorced b/c she got sick and wanted him to move on with his life. He says he wasn't happy there, but felt guilty right after the divorce b/c he feels he abandoned her. He calls her once every 2-3 weeks "to say hi" and has told me that she talks about "what could have been" if she hadn't gotten sick and that he was/is the love of her life. He says I'm overreacting (which is possible due to hormones) about being upset and unconfortable, but when I pointed out that he would be the exact same way and even worse, he agreed. He said that I should just be "the better person" and he's not going to stop talking to her. Do I have the right to be upset about this? What would you do?
