Family & Relationships - 12 February 2007

Before I ask my question you need to know a little bit about my life. Im in high school and take care of my 59 yr. old dad. Its just me and him together. I cook clean do laundry you know the usual, and he takes care of a business and works constantly. When my parents went through a devorce my mom took most of the friends, which was dumb, because hes the nicest person you could ever meet. He knows he has a teenage daughter on his hands and for him he gets a little lonely. For free time hes always worn out from work so he normally sleeps or watches tv. I try to keep him company but I have a life on my hands too,its hard to manage both. I have a boyfriend who I love to hang out with but I feel bad because then my dad is alone. I care alot for both of them and try to do activities that both can enjoy but it gets awkward. Recently hes had a break up with a psychotic girlfriend who didnt really care about him. Hes shy so I feel as though this Vday I need to do something special. any ideas?

I met him at church, and one of my friends informed him that i like him...i keep catching him staring at me in class, and we was playing peek aboo with me...everytime i walk into a room, he yells my name, and in church he gives me a hug...he talks about me to my friends...i cant date though...does he like me?...what should i do?

It doesn't seem like there are too many people left who actually values their vows. They say "for better and FOR WORSE" so why do so many people ask questions on here like if they should try to make their marriage work if they are having hard times or problems?

Do you value your vows?

If you were having intimacy problems or communication problems or if one of ou cheated one time or something like that would you just call it a loss and get a divorce?
Or would you try to work at your marriage and make it better?

I mean I don't think I could ever leave my husband unless he beat me or something that was threating my life or my childrens lives.

I think she is angry over nothing and mad at me for no good reason, but I'll tell you what happened so you can decide. My wife told me to take my 5 year old son to Chuck E. Cheese's for his birthday because she was out of town, but beforehand I decided I would play a joke on him so I drove him to this burned down shack and told him Chuck E. Cheese's must have caught on fire and burned down. My son started crying and crying for at least two hours, but I know deep inside he thought it was a good joke. So after we left the shack I was going to go to Chuck E. Cheese's, but it was getting late and I wanted to catch the end of this basketball game so I decided we should just go home. I think my son really thought I pulled off a good prank, but my wife still seems to be mad at me and I can't understand why. Why doesn't she see the humor in the situation?

What am I doing or what vibe could I be sending that I keep attracting unavailable men? For example, married co-worker, my manager, ex of friend.

Do you think it could because I know I can't have them so I act like myself and don't get shy around them or do you think it's something else?

Also, before you go telling me to leave these guys alone, I am not, and never have, done anything with any of them. They just seem to be the ones who flirt with me and pay me the most attention.

See I like this boy right and I am dating him...okay anyways....i want to go far but i just don't want to get pregant..i like taylor (boyfriends name). "I just asked this girl out and she said yes, sorry" But I think they broke up oor are colse to it, he doesn't really sound happy about their relationship. But I was told that he doesn't think I like him anymore. So, for all of my friends for V-day I made chocolate fudge and I melted chocolate and molded it into hearts using foil as a mold. I tasted it its really good haha. I am going him 2 hearts and a few pieces of fudge in a bag with a card that says:

Will I ever get married? Was does everyone think of a mother who deserts her baby. As I mentioned in a previous question I became a dad when I was 13 and last year my daughter mother left her with me and moved 500 miles away to her grandmothers. I now have legal custody and we live alone ( I fell out with my mother). I am now 17 and my daughter is 3. But I still do not understand how any mother could leave her child and never return for a visit. My little girl only recently stopped asking for her mother. What is everyones opinion on a deserting mother?
