First off I am confused by "idk"! Are you saying "I think"? Secondly you are not telling us these guys are trying to get you in the sack but rather just want to take you out someplace. Nothing wrong with that! Not all good friends just chat on the phone or whatever, and yes they sometimes go out to different places together. Either you are not making yourself quite clear enough in your question, or you are telling us all you are somewhat insecure in a realtionship with the opposite sex. If these so-called friends are somewhat confused by your attitude, I can't say I really blame them. Perhaps what you really need is a GF and not a BF, and you really have not yet discovered your sexual preference. Regardless don't kid yourself by thinking that just because a guy wants to take you out for some fun that he is really trying to get into your pants!

It is a very common situation where a male develops feelings for a female friend or best friend and the female is not interested. Just remember every person is different so each outcome will be different. I recommend you display honesty in every single case you come across. You have more chance of keeping the friendship than if you lie, as someone always gets hurt. If you lose the friend it is their loss not yours. I have experienced alot of cases like this, one very serious, and I am still friends with all of them, one of them became my bestfriend.

1) Tell him "No" and stay friends
2) Tell him "No" and leave
3) Go out with him to see if you grow to like him or not
That's all I can think right now. All of them are risky since you may lose a precious friend again...but you'll find out many things for sure.
I hope things will get better for you and take care.
PS: I went out with a guy friend, tried to see if I grow to like him...but I didn't. At least he got to have a chance, I thought it'll be better. Any of these 3 will end up hurting both of you anyways...so why not try, I thought.

Well, I've had that problem before. It's like whenever you tell the guy, you just want to be friends, they don't want to talk to you anymore. But that's the chance you have to take when you became friends with a guy. If you don't want to be more than friends, tell them you just want to be friends for now but you'll see if it goes anywhere. That might work. At least for a little while.

Yeah actually my best friend is and was a guy (the same guy) He liked me and hit on me whatver asked me out a couple of times. If he really is your close friend you should be honest with him and say sorry your an awesome riend but i don lik yiou as more than that!! If heis as close as you say he is he'll do the same as my friend and back off. (trust me its not that hard for guys he moved ob the next day to my other friend)

Um, tell him and remember to wait a couple weeks after Valentine's day. I mean it is the day of love. Don't crush him and stay friends. I just told the guy I wanted some space.

Honey, just be straight with him about how you feel. He deserves the truth, and you deserve to be comfortable and happy.
