i like this kid and he likes me too. i was talking to him on the phone last night for 45 mins (which is unusual for us, usually its only 2 mins) and we had planned to hang out today. the past three times i tried to hang out with him, he wasnt home when he said he was going to be. he promised that this time he would be, but when i called when i was supposed to go over, he wasnt home. his dad said he'd have him call me but he hasnt called back yet. im pretty sure he wil later, but im wondering why he keeps doing this and how i should react when he calls? should i be really mad, or should i act like it doesnt really bother me?

I sleep around(and my b/f knows, but is somewhat ok with it) and He gave up being a player for me. Is it a double standard??

My exboyfriend is attempting to talk to me again. He is my liife long bestfriend. I know him since we were 4yrs old. We dated for some time but he is a Marine and shortly after we started dating he was deployed to Iraq. Well, 9 months later he gets back and suddenly he tells me that he thought a lot about us overthere and that he didn't love me anymore. Ok, so I accepted this painful truth and let him go and I've had NO contact with him whatsoever in 7 months. I then started dating another guy but it didn't work out . I told my ex very clearly that I would never be his friend, NEVER AGAIN! Last night I was online and he suddenly pops up saying hello. We talked a lot and in one of the things he mentioned he said that now (after Iraq) he appreciates things more and that he wishes he would have done things differently. He gave me his Cel phone # but I am not going to call. I still love him with all my heart and I don't want to be friends.Should I tell him how I feel?What is he thinking?

For online relationships, are there any general rules of thumb for how long it should normally take for you to hear back from that special someone? For example, 1-3 days?

Also, if possible should you always try to write her back within a 24-48 hr time frame?

I have this guy who I really wanted to be friends with benefits. Yet he cant seem to handle the friendship part. I really like him. We are both grown a*! adults and enjoy sex with each other very much.
But I feel disrespected cuz he only responds to me when he wants it. Or like recently he told me he was no longer interested and couple weeks later he is all up on me again. Then back to same ol same ol of no response.
What should I do? I really like having sex with him. I would like to be his friend. I've tried to talk to him via email. Should I just confront him when he gives me a booty call again? ask him what exactly is going on? I'm so confused but I really like him. I have a lot of respect for him as a person. I just wish he had some for me as a friend...arg!

I have a friend, one of my best friends ever actually, who is going down a dark path. Her friends are real skanky and I'm afraid she''s end up a pregnat druggie like her mom. So I finally got the courage up to ask my crush to our Winter Carnival and he said that he'd think about going with me because he wasn't sure if he was going or not. When I was talking with him though he was smiling the whole time, full eye contact and everything. So when he passed me today in the hallway he didn't even look at me and when I had asked him to Winter Carnival it was this past Friday so I'm getting a little worried that maybe he doesn't want to go with me or something. He did seem a little nervous when I was talking to him but before I had asked him to Winter Carnival [we were both in the library], he kept looking at me and after lunch ended and I had to go to the library for my class and he was in there when my friend and I walked in he kept looking at me again. What do you think?
