Real intimacy:

1. Not being able to sleep because he's lying still next to you awake.
2. Knowing what he is worried about before he tells you.
3. Knowing you are loved no matter what you do or say.
4. Being able to feel his presence in the room.
5. Calming down because he touched your hand.

Real intimacy is not just sex. I think real intimacy begins with respect and friendship. My man & I have what I think is an intmate relationship. We are each others best friends, but we have lots of other friends too. We love spending lots of time alone together, but we love doing things with other couples. We can sit and talk about nothing for hours and hours. Even now we lay in bed and talk all night. We have been together for 7 years and still feel like out love is new. I cant wait to wake up in the morning just to see him smile at me and I think he feels the same. When you do have TRUE intimacy you will know it.

Intimacy is sharing your true heart to your lover with complete safety.

Watch the Movie "In to Me See", from the Spiritual Cinema Circle. Everybody that has seen this move have just broke down and cried. It also changes how people view relationships. The only way this movie can't have an affect on you is you have never had an ending of a love relationship. I am crying thinking about now.

I think everyone should see this movie. Maybe people will not play with each other's heart so easily.

Real intimacy is a connection between individuals. It has nothing to do with sex, although good sex can come as a result of great intimacy.

It's a connection between two people. Not by having sex but by making love! That is totally 2 different things. Sex can be very dry and the pleasure of it won't last long, but real intimacy aka making love is a long lasting pleasure that you will never forget!

It's being "spiritually" connected to another person.

It has nothing to do with sex....you can have sex with a person & it not be intimate.

It has nothing to do with religious beliefs.
