My exboyfriend is attempting to talk to me again. He is my liife long bestfriend. I know him since we were 4yrs old. We dated for some time but he is a Marine and shortly after we started dating he was deployed to Iraq. Well, 9 months later he gets back and suddenly he tells me that he thought a lot about us overthere and that he didn't love me anymore. Ok, so I accepted this painful truth and let him go and I've had NO contact with him whatsoever in 7 months. I then started dating another guy but it didn't work out . I told my ex very clearly that I would never be his friend, NEVER AGAIN! Last night I was online and he suddenly pops up saying hello. We talked a lot and in one of the things he mentioned he said that now (after Iraq) he appreciates things more and that he wishes he would have done things differently. He gave me his Cel phone # but I am not going to call. I still love him with all my heart and I don't want to be friends.Should I tell him how I feel?What is he thinking?

why are you not going to call him? honestly what do you have to loose? from what it looks like it seems that you want to call him because if you really didnt you wouldnt give it a second thought. when placed in certain situations people tend to realize what they have/had and really start to cherish it. if you call him and it goes go well then its ok, your in the same situation that you are now, but if it goes good then its a diff story. g-luck
