What about a nice picture of you (and the kids, if any) that he can look at while he's on the road.
Jees, darlin', you didn't give us many details of his likes/dislikes, so that's something that my wife gave me for the truck years ago and I loved it - still got it now, 30 years later!
Tell him to keep the shiny side up!

Ug my husband is awful to buy for. I should be thankful though since he never asks for anything but just a hug and a kiss. lol
How about talking to your husband mom & ask her if he had a favorite stuffed animal, book, tv show or something like that. Then maybe see if you can find what ever he loved in good shape.

A great quality pillow and travel blanket... Or maybe engrave his name or favourite phrase/ number into a stainless steel thermos. Some new Cd's to play, maybe get some that are of stand up comedy.
