My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year now. We always fight about the same thing: marijuana. I don't smoke and I am adamently opposed to doing recreational drugs. I don't believe in putting foreign substances into your body to change the way you feel. My boyfriend tends to get depressed quite easily and uses marijuana to deal with his feelings. He is addicted to it now.

He has promised me multiple times that he would quit and has repeatedly lied. I just found out that he has lied again. I don't know what to do! I love him more than anything, but I can't see myself married to someone who does drugs and lies to me. I'm tired of having to wonder every night that he goes out with friends if he is going to smoke. On our wedding day, I don't want to wonder whether he smoked at his bachelor's party. I'm fed up, but I really can't imagine my life without him. Please help!

my wife died in June 2006-sudden death-I had no warning I've a good attitude, but I have trouble letting go,and I want to know how to go on-it's not like you can just flick a switch-wewere married almost 13 years-it isn't that easy and everybody isfrustrated because I'm not progressing very fast. Particularly with decision making, it isn't happening very fast.Even the week my wife died my family wanted me to start dating,and I just can't imagine dating right now - it's been7 1/2 months now and Ican't imagine. Gosh a date with me right now would be me telling them about Valerie for 2 hours. thanks so much -does that make any sense?My wife was very socially skilled,and I obviously have a lot more trouble. How can I start to become skilled int the things she could do and I can't. Like I still can't focus well, she always had to keep me on track. I am disoriented. I'm scared to talk to people. ideas?I feel like a puppy in a mine field. I'm like torn in 15 directions Thanks!

I would like to get my sister a special gift, she has always been there when I need help the most. Over the years I have had a couple of times when I was unemployed and she always is able to help me with work (she is an Administrative Director of a large medical practice in our city). I recently was layed off and she right away suggested I come work in a branch of her office, so I did. The problem is she makes very good money and has everything (even a summer house in Florida). I truly appreciate her and would like some suggestions on what to get someone who seems to have everything!!

ok i have a good looking boyfriend, and alot of guys try to talk to me, even girl sometime try to hit on Me LoL...i have a cute body, and i dress nice, but for some reason i Feel ugly most of the time... i am always looking at other girls and comparing myself with them... i dont understand why i think this way.. if i know im not ugly.. and what worse its ruining my relationship because im always thinking my boyfriend is to good for me, and he most be cheating......what do i DO?

Do most girls not like confrontation?

For example, in an old relationship with someone, I tried confronting her with "why did you say this / why did you do this " questions with my ex-, but she (for the most part) didn't reply to my comments. Maybe because I never stopped talking, but what's going on your (girls) minds when a guy wants to question you, your motives, and actions?

I have had 2 over aged boyfriends the first one was 17 and about to turn 18 but my mom made me break up with him b4 he was overf age. But i understand that because he was a total jerk and horn dog and i dont even talk to him any more. The second guy though was totally amazing we had a insane amount in common and he treated me insanly well. But since he was 18 and my mom found out and wanted us to break up but at the time we have already been going out for about a month and i fought against my mom for abouy 2 weeks b4 i broke up with him. We are still great friends and i talk to him all the time and we still hang out together. But i still am crushing on him and he still likes me to. I feel horrible and like i made a huge mistake.So was my mom right? or should have i gone behind he back and kept dating him?

In 1982 my family and I went to Knoxville for the World's Fair...it was awful...we arrived late to our "motel" which was a trailer in a trailer park...in fact our trailer had been modified into two units...the guy next to us told us he had an apartment!! LOL! It was hot, people were passing out from the heat, the exhibits were poorly done and uninteresting, food was bad, my cousin wandered off and we could not find him, my brother and I got into a big fight!! My dad kept trying to act like it was fun, when he too, was deeply disappointed...not a good two days at all. Even to this day when I pass through Knoxville and see the Sunshpere I shudder! Now many years later, we laugh about this trip...for some reason we bring it up everytime we all get together!
