From a shy guy perspective if he relaxes and tends to talk easily around you and sneaks a few looks every now and then. You could ask but if he's like me he wouldn't tell you. Eventually when the time is right he'll let you know.

well i gues you wouldn't unless his friends talk to you. he would probley not tell them if he was really shy so i guess its hard. if you really want to know... then ask him... or get a friend to if you're shy.
