A divorced man has his 3 grown children and their spouces over for dinner. His ex wife, the mother of the 3 grown children, also comes. Neither are remarried, or have a significant other at the meal. The man sits at one end of the table...should the ex sit at the other?

How many times would you accept "I'm sorry, it won't happen again" from an alcoholic who gets mean when drunk and won't go to AA or an inpatient detox? (and has private insurance that will pay so there isn't any money issue) I'm thinking maybe three and then it's adios amigo?

go out with guys that treat you like crap, cheat on you, and abuse you physically and emotionally? You can break up a hundred times but you'll still go back with him. You girls choose these guys over nice guys that would treat you right and i want to know why? a lot of girls fall into this catogory and i know youre going to say that im wrong but i see it all the time.

If you've not spoken to your close female friend for 2 months and when ur mate mentions YOUR NAME and suggests everyone meets up and her REACTION is:

She just goes quiet, he asks her again,mentioning my name and all she says is NO-her mood changed completly after my name was mentioned.She doesn't say anything else until the topic changed.

MEANING?What she possibly feeling?

My ex died yesterday from cancer. Eventhough we ended in bad terms a few years ago, he and I remained close, esp. the last couple of months. I feel very broken because he tried to call me yesterday morning and I missed that call. I tried calling him back but never got through. His brother called a few hours to tell me he passed away.

I wanted so badly to say goodbye but his family had him cremated today. To make matters worse, my current boyfriend isn't being to supportive about this. I needed him the most but instead he called the next day to tell me he was sorry (he sounded like he didn't care).

I did cared for him and forgave him for what he's done in the past, but it hurts so much that I wasn't able to say goodbye. I just don't know what to do. His brother also told me that my ex's lawyer will call me about something about the life insurance. I don't know what's going on. I'm just too broken right now.

Well i meet this boy (a) over the summer. I feel for (a) as soon as i saw him and about two weeks later we were going out. it didnt last we were only together for about a week. (a)'s friend asked me out and i was about to say yes when (a) told me that he was sorry for dumping me and that he really loved me. so about a month after we started going out again. in october we broke up with eachother. I still really like him and ever since i first saw him i always have done, but he doesnt feel the same way about me.

I just broke off my engagement with my fiancee, i think she has a bipolar disorder and drug addiction. She has been arrested for passing fake prescritions in the past and then my brother accused her of stealing prescripts from their house. no one saw her do it but there was no one else there and i never told them about her past so i do think it is a very possible action on her part.

it hurts me to break up like this, she denies it all but this is part of the drug addict..they are liars and thieves. my whole family hates her and i think her parents probably hate me now too..too much hate going around, this should be a happy time..i didnt do anything wrong but i know to marry someone with these problems will lead to big issues down the road. i was a fool to ask her to get married but now i feel like i have hurt her and her whole family by doing what it right..advising her to get help and breaking it off.

What can i do to get over this?

Im only 19, and my fiance' is 21. Ive known him since i was fourteen but started dating when i was 17. He asked me the big question on our one year anniversay. Its real love! and everything feels right. However my friends of like 11 years dont want me to get married to him. They both ganged up on me and i almost broke down in tears, these girls were supposed to be my bridemaids. I am 6 weeks pregnant by my boyfriend who I have been with for 4 months and my divorce from my ex husband is not yet final? However I am not sure if I am over my husband he wants me back we have been separated for almost 3 years but talking and were intimate up until I met my current boyfriend. I have 2 kids by my ex husband ages 15 and 9. My boyfriend is wonderful and supportive but I am terrified of having another baby. He has been trying to rush my divorce and started talking about marriage. I told him I didn't want to get married just because I was pregnant and he assured me that he wanted to marry me before he knew I was pregnant. My problem is if I try again with my husband he wants me to abort this baby and if I stay with my boyfriend and have the baby and it doesnt work I can never go back to my ex husband with this baby. There are 6 of us in are own tight group, Kailyn, Avery, Joyce, Audrey, Molly,and me Amanda. We call ourselves KAJAMA, its all of our first letters in our initals. Molly, is the boy crazy one. she thinks we pick on her too much. but we pick on everyone and equal amout. today in lunch, we were all saying things, and she told my closest friend Audrey "at least i can get a boyfriend", i thought that was really rude adn mean. Then in the hallway coming back from luch, she ran ahead of us and then waited, so i thougth she wood say sorry...but, she didnt!! she goes up to Audrey and says "next time you think im your friend, think a twice *****!",molly said that. and then she just walked away. this has happened before. she thins evrything revolves round her, and she NEVER does anything wrong. We are only in 8th grade, and she is already like this!! I was contemplating not being her friend again, becuz we only have 2 say sory, and if this is wut are friendship is going to be, it aint wurth it!!
