she is 10 all you can do is live with it for now she will grow out of it.. the best thing you can do is ignore her when she does this dont pay her any attention good or bad and that will take the fun out of it for her she is more then likely doing this just to get a rise out of you and i would say you are falling for it hook line and sinker so stop im not sure how old you are but stop stooping down to her age level. let her be 10... guess what im sure that you had some pretty annoying tricks when you were 10 as well.. be a big brother love her and be good to her she is your famiy

Assuming little sissy is mentally and physically normal for her age, try the following. It will take patience and consistent application on your part but it will work eventually. It is an animal training technique called Least Reinforced Behavior. Whenever she uses babytalk, you freeze in place just for a moment, then turn away from her and ignore what she just said. When she speaks in normal language, you respond politely and fully and praise the heck out of her...thank her for speaking well. Do whatever you can to reward good behavior when she demonstrates it.

She's 10...what do you expect?
Be thankful you have a little sister, some people have had and for whatever reason have lost. Take care of her as you should, and pick on her because you love the kid. Just baby talk back to her....she will eventually (after a while) get the message. Just stick to your guns, lol!

She will grow out of it soon so do not worry. She move on to something even more annoying soon! LOL!!!
In all sincerity.. love her and cherish the times you have. When you both go your own separate ways.. you will truly miss her.
Keep in mind that you are not always the most pleasant person to be around either.

trust me. i have the same kind of problem with my 9 year old brother. he is always trying to annoy me and getting me in trouble for what he does. if i were you, i would ignore her at first. if she doesn't stop after that, get your parents alone with you and tell them the problem. maybe they can talk to her and give her a little common sense.

Enjoy these days while they last because they don't last very long. My sister and I don't share a lot of happy memories because we were too busy fighting and annoying each other.

she's 10...and obviouslly just want attention...be a good brother and just talk to her about it...she probably looks up to her big brother...if she continues to do that , tell her how much you love her , but it really bothers you to hear her talk like a baby when you know she is getting to be a big girl...

Tell her to grow up and ignore her and she'll probably do anything to get your attention so you should only give her attention when she's being mature. But when she is being mature, be nice too!
