I think you need to take it slow, but including her child(ren) in some of your activities/dates would win points. Remember she will care if her kids like you because they most likely come first in her life. Understand she may not always be free and baby-sitters aren't cheep, so hanging out at her place would be good. Bring dinner and movies to watch with her and the kids. But before all this you need to find out what she's looking for. It is serious business to get involved in the kids lives. Anyway, I hope this helps and makes sense. Good luck to ya!

Understanding because thier life revolves around a little person that has to come first. And a single mother will not put up with the bullshit a lot of women will. They have more important things to think about

Being straight up with her, not deceiving her and excepting that she and her kids come as a package deal.
Also, allowing her to have someone to lean on when times get tough - she will return the favor when you need someone. Supporting her - not necessarily finically but emotionally and spiritually.
By accepting her children and building a relationship with them. Taking them out for just you and them time so that she can have some 'mom time'.
And treating her as a woman - as someone who is passionate, sexy, smart and fun. Not just a mom with spit-up and diapers and toys stuck in her purse and hair.

Be yourself, you have to realize that being with her also means being with her kid/kids. If you are not ready to be a father, don't even try to get to the mother. The biggest thing for single mothers is not if the guy is good for her, but if he is good enough to be the father of her kids. Single moms usually do ask their kids opionions of a man before they get serious with him, depending on the age of the kids of course. Keep in mind, if you hurt her, you are also hurting her kids, so don't try to get in her bed by being nice to the kids.
