Why do guys like to pick on other women or thier girlfriends or wives, I find it very mean and stupid, I mean I think there doing it because they want attention all to themselves and they want to act cool. So why do you think there bieng assholes?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. We have had our share of ups and downs but we always managed to work it out. However, recently he has been distancing himself. He does not like his job. He got into a fight with his boss because my boyfriend was hoping to get promoted but his boss would not let him. He has been pretty upset about it and since then it's as if he is not "there". He is irritable. He has been applying for new jobs and he says he needs to get himself sorted as he is not happy there at all. Since the day he has been told he won't get promoted, which in the industry he works for, that's the only way to climb up, he hasn't been attentive that much. He told me the other day that he is sorry that he has been neglecting me. I never actually told him that he neglects me. However, last weekend we got into an argument as I became needy of him and he said that he needs some time for himself. What is it that I should do in order to support him? Does he not love me?

I take my career very seriously, but it has started to consume upwards of 50 hours/week. My 2nd grader needs more help with homework, projects and attention after she gets home at 5:30. I have a very supportive husband, but his job is starting to demand more time, also. We both need to work to support the household, which also includes two sophomores, one in college and one in high school. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I consider myself to be a dominent woman, i like to be a leader, not a sheep, if i want sex i am not afraid to initiate it, and take control my partner is also a dominent figure....sometimes this can cause heated moments, but my question is do guys who are dominent find a dominent partner like themselves too much of a real challange to deal with, or do they just prefer a woman who sobordinates, and is easier to control?

If you've not spoken to your close female friend for 2 months and when ur mate mentions YOUR NAME and suggests everyone meets up and her REACTION is:

She just goes quiet, he asks her again,mentioning my name and all she says is NO-her mood changed completly after my name was mentioned.She doesn't say anything else until the topic changed.

MEANING?What is she possibly feeling?

My 12 year old daughter and my ex-wife have finally reached the point that they can't live together anymore. She is moving in with me this week, and changing schools. She is excited about this, as she has made some poor choices at her former school and has problems with a "bully bunch" of girls. What steps can i take with her to ensure she doesn't fall in with a "mischevious" crowd at her new school? I haven't been a full time dad in 4 years, and I'm very nervous.

I have a friend. He has just gotten intimate with his gf and it went very, very well. Afterward she talked about how it was unusal for the the first time to be that good. But my friend got tongue tied and could not get it out that he had taken the blue pill.

I am wondering about what to do. My husband and I have been married 4 &1/2 years. We have 2 children. My husband and myself have really been distant for a while now. In the past month or so, my husband has been having angry outbursts. He is breaking things around the house when he gets angry. (Ex: kicking in the front door)

He has not physically hit me or my children. But I feel a fuse has been lit and I can not extinguish it.

I have now resloved myself to leave if this behavior happens again. I will take my children and we will move into an apartment across town until he works this out-if he ever does.

I am not really looking to get divorced. Everything that I have read about kids and divorce is devstating. I want to get a "breather" I suppose.

What would you do?

Also, I might want to mention that he has had a massive ego lately with a complete cavemen mentality. "You have sex with me, clean the house, keep the kids happy and quiet and we will be all set."

Ok my best friends name is courtney and her best friend is macy,. We are all close friends and hang out like every weekend. my honey and i have been dationg for 2 months. we are very different from one another (republican/democrat; christian/buddhist; introvert/extravert; mature/fun-loving). along with all the romantic momens and sweet IMs, we had quite a few fights. We both realize that both of us will have to change to make this thing work. And there are some things we wanted to improve long ago (which will make our relationship much better).

Last 2 weeks have been hard and stressfull for us.

Q1: is it woth doing all those changes?

Q2. since our relationship has been under a lot of stress latelly, what can i do to sooth him (a lot of it is really my fault).

Hi I really like this guy and I can not tell if he likes me also. He is very friendly and nice to everyone. He IM's me sometimes and also he is in my group of friends so we do things together as a group a lot. I recently fell out with my girlfriend who I have been seeing for half a year. I think the world of the girl but was not very good at showing it, and I have lost her. Losing her is very hard and I know that there would be no chance of getting her back as we are not talking and she does not want to know me.
