my husband, myself and two sons are going away for the weekend at easter.
the problem is my mum makes me feel guilty if i don't ask her to come to.
we took her away with us 2 yrs ago and it was a nightmare, she spent the whole week moaning about money,we went for a drink on the first night she said " let me get these, it's my last tenner "!
this was within 2 hrs of arriving ! so obviosly my husband got the drinks along with all the drinks all week . we also paid for any meals and admission into various places all week.
but what my husband didn't realise was that she was buying herself fags each day ! ( but she had no money left !)
we asked her to come last year and she said yes, then 2 days before we were due to leave she changed her mind as she had no money !!!
my husband says there is no way he wants to take her again this year and i can understand it, but i know she will make me feel guilty.
are we being selfish ?my sister has never taken her anywhere

sure he will never talk 2 me coz of his shyness. he tries to look at my place every time he passes ad stands outside. im also very shy . i really like him .i tried alot to forgett him but i can't.what shuld i do.he z d only guy abt him i think everytime ad fm very long period

My boyfriend and my best friend despise eachother. There is no other way to put it. I think it's because they both hate that i love them both the same and split my feelings in half, instead of just wanting to be with them and only them. Okey. Why is it that steady boyfriends always say that they don't really want to have sex every time they meet you, because they love you more and don't want to turn you into their sex obsession/object. Coz the relationship means more than that.. bla.. bla.. bla..

I look at it this way, if my boyfriend die tomorrow, what would be the one thing I regret the most? Not spending the night with him, and share my love with him.. and all that..

I know I seem a little young to be dating since I'm only 12 (soon 13) but these days, kids my age starts dating and stuff. It's not so serious it's up to the point of sex, but I want to know how to get my bf to hold my hand? He's not shy with me, he puts his arm across my waist and he puts his head on my shoulder when we sit next to each other; or if I should make the first move, how should I do it? I even made the first move of hugging him already, so I kinda want him to make the move first this time..but would I seem to be too impatient and rushing this relationship if I become too obvious of having him hold my hand? We only been together for a week.

I dont know what im feeling now?
I had people over...the guys just wanted to ****...one of my guy "friends" who I dont know well came....he got lost and I had to give him 20 gas money to get him home this morning. He's not attractive but he likes me a lot. I only like him a little...i thought if i made him cut his hair he would be more attractive to me...but that's not the case. I just feel bd because i sepent a lot of money on th party and no one seemed to care...especially having to shell out gas money for someone else! Has this ever happened to you guys?

My boyfriend had recently quit cocaine.
I love him more than anything, we were talking about getting married, I might be pregnant. I love him and want to help him thru this. But when he is putting me off to get a high, i get so mad,and disappointed in him. He is a wonderful person and I know that he is better than this. I feel that if I stay by his side he will see that I do love him. I have never done so much as an unsubscribed pain pill. I've been drunk once in my life and I have never been high on weed. Nothing of the sorts. I told him last night when he got off the phone he said I Love you and i didn't say it back, all i said was prove it, and he sighed and said i'm sorry, i will. This is the last time. Thing is two days ago he swore and promised he wouldn't do it. I was always taught by my family to stand by your man. And that's like my anthem. I just need advice. Am i wrong for wanting to stand by him and help him with his addiction, because some people change.?

I'm quitting smoking tomorrow... I light my last one at a quarter to midnight and not another one will pass my lips after midnight... not one in 2007... that's my intention anyway!

I'm seriously sick of a sarcastic non-smoking 'friend' who constantly lectures, hectores and nags... not for my health, but in judgement on me, because she's perfect... so I've ended the friendship without telling her my plan was already in action.

It's 'constructive encouragement' I need right now, not snide remarks like "about time too" "you'll never do it" "think of the cost" "it smells" "it's anti-social" etc.

I've planned the quit day for three months and know it works this way, because I did it all before, but sadly, life events that really hurt, set me off again, after six years clean.

I worried about telling another friend, because she smokes a lot, didn't want her to feel I'm in judgement on her, that it would affect our friendship.

Guess what?

She's quitting with me:-)

Here’s the story so far…. I started work at a new business, and met this really nice girl my first day of work. We started talking and what not, while working every day. She works in one dept close to mine, so I see her or I can wander over if I get bored during the day. I found out she really digs Sci-Fi, and that really got me interested in her. So later that day I asked her out for coffee, and then after a BIG hesitation and then said maybe after the holidays…

I figured she was either seeing someone or she was being nice, but didn’t want to say no to me. So the next day I ignored her, to see what happened and she didn’t talk to me at all. The next day, a friend of hers came up and asked me if I asked this girl out the other day. I said, yes and told her the story. She told me, that his girl doesn’t date people she works with BUT since I am training and going else where, I shouldn’t have any problems after the end of the month (since I’ll be moving to another business).

So ever since then, we have been joking around, and still talking to her. Here is the problem: I read into what girls do and say WAY too much! I “think” she’s into me. Let me give you a few examples, she’s always either waving at me when she goes by, or smiles (like big smile) and seems to be giddy or laughs what I say. Now I think these are good signs, but I’ve I’m not quite sure if I should just let her ask me out next or ask her out again. I work with her in the same business until the end of this month, so I have until then to make a move. Can anyone please give me advice??

i met my bloke 5 years ago he was in a relationship we had an affair for 9 months he wasnt ready 2 leave so we split we got back together again 8 months ago but he has recently told his ex(the mother of his children) that we are together since then whenever we make plans 2 spend time together she calls him and wants him to do sumthing with his children so our plans go out the window but when i talk to him about it he just says there my children and suddenly i cant argue with that am i just being paranoid sumtimes i feel like she is doing it on purpose as sum sort of revenge for having an affair with him all those years ago his 36 and im 23 there are many issues between us but this is the main one plz help i love him loadz and dont want to lose him
