Me and my boyfriend were having some problems and I decided he was way to good for me to lose because of my thick headedness so I decided I had better nip things in the bud and make sure he knew how much I really loved him. I put candles all around the bathroom along with fragrant rose petals and potpourri. I made a tray of finger foods shrimp, cheeses, crackers strawberries, etc. I had a chilled bottle of champagne and two glasses on the counter that goes around my bathtub. I even bought a little bathtub pillow that suction cups to the edge of the tub. I made sure his bath water was ready. I put the kids to bed early and turned all the lights out. He works long hours and has a long drive to get home so he is looking for something to eat first thing when he comes through the door. This night he came through the door and looked at the kitchen with no lights on and he looked so disappointed and tired. I met him at the door and took him into the bedroom and took his shoes off and his clothes and led him into our bathroom. I turned on the jaccuzi jets and sat beside the bathtub on a little stool and fed him in the candle light while he totally relaxed. After his bath I gave him a massage. He was so surprised and said that it was very special to him, that no had ever done anything like this before. I had never done anything like that either because I thought guys and flowers and candles, he'll think thats silly. But no, he was very touched and we are getting married next week!!!!!!

Wouldn't it be better to ask "what's the most romantic thing that someone has done for us?"? I may think the thing I've done was romantic but the receiver may not have...ya know? Guys are always doing what they may think is romantic and the girl thinks he's just trying to get laid. The romanticism gets lost in the delivery sometimes.

My one and only time I was ever considered Romantic was on my wifes 30th bithday! I had 30 roses delivered to her at work with a card in it. I must confess though it was not my idea at all! I was in a pickle over what to do for my wifes birthday and I was delivering gas products to this flower shop. Well this Gay man runs and owns this flower shop. I told him about my delima he was the brainy ache that actually gave me this Romantic idea. I kept it a secret for many years. Believe me I am far from being romantic!
