Hello! We are a newly engaged couple. This is our first new year's together. I want it to be special. We both agreed to spend it together alone. My fiance doesn't want us to go to some club or ball. He says it's not our style and we won't be happy there. Do you have any ideas for me, please? We have a money gift that we can spend, so money shouldn't be a problem. Also, we don't live together and he lives in another town. He will come all the way to spend new year's eve and may be two days with me. Thank you!

I want to get in touch with an old friend that I haven't spoken to in two and a half years. We were pretty close friends at some point, but she said something so awful about me and I very quietly cut her off. She is really not a bad person and I understand that nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. I want to put the past behind us. She recently had a baby and I want to congratulate her for that. I have her contact info but I feel a bit awkward. What do you think?

HELP!!! how do i get his attention or get him back. he doesn't answer my questions and he keeps me in suspence, wandering if he loves me, why, etc

My stepdad just told my 7 year old little brother he couldn't get the Nintendo Wii or something for Christmas, so he's furious, and put the powder SEA MONKEY FOOD in stepdad's drink. I read the label and it says it's very harmful to humans! My stepdad is stumbling around and I'm really scared, I feel like I'm responsible!!! What do I do?? My little brother doesn't know I know what he did, but I saw him!

I am 21 and I've developed quite a crush on a 16 year old girl. I realize that doing anything about this crush is not exactly proper, because of the nature of our age difference.
Truth is though, she is just so adorable, I can't stop thinking about her, and I find myself flirting/wanting to flirt with her. Is this okay as long as I don't take it any further, or should I "cease and desist" in the interests of propriety?

Blessings
By: Kenny P. aka- Cobra

You were born with a blessing.
And others see it in, you too.

Some are willing to die for it,
But it seems, it never bothers you.

Has your blessing put you above us?
Or yourself, who thinks you look the best.

Your blessings has opened doors for you,
While others, have to suffer like the rest.

It’s not your fault, you were blessed,
With the beauty, that others see.

It’s the way, that you conduct yourself,
That makes others glad, their blessed free.

But, there will come a day
When your blessings no longer work,

And you will see, what others truly thought of you,
When your blessings, made you act like a jerk.

So remember, there’s more to life than looks,
It’s what’s behind the looks which really make a friend.

So treat your friends with love and kindness.
And they will help you, to the very end.

I am in a 61/2 year relationship. He lost his job 2 yrs ago, moved in with me 1yr ago. Only works PT & Freelance. Not looking for any other work outside his field. Bills are getting behind, I carry 95% of the load. I care for him but I have determined that I do not want to be his wife. His family is extremely dysfunctional and his options of where else to live are at "0". I'm tired, he seems content with his situation until I inquire. He whines excuses when I express how he needs a FT job. I know, having lost home & job (13yrs) taken away has to be very devastating, but how long can one "man" flop around in sorrow? I have truly been on his side for a long time but, I've reached a point of no more empathy. No, it isn't just a cash/bill issue. He reminds me of a teenager. Does nothing productive all day then right before I get home, half wash the dishes or start something else, as if he has been productive all day. Hygeine habits are bad too. Who would want sex with this stress

It really hurts. I cry when I'm alone; if I did it around her, she would just make some hurtful comment. We use to have such a close bond. I feel like she would be happier if I were just gone.I miss my child.
