Okay... so me and my girlfriend are supposed to be getting married. I proposed and we set a date for November 1st a while ago.

Well her dad just got arrested for a child molestation thing... apparently he snuck into an elementary school, and smeared mayonaise all over the bodies of a class of third graders and told them he wanted to make a Michael Jackson sandwich out of them.

So the lawyers say he's going to jail for at least 20 years.

And she refuses to get married if he can't walk her down the isle!!!

DO I HAVE TO WAIT 20 YEARS TO MARRY MY SWEETHEART NOW? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THE INVITATIONS!! I PAID FOR THEM ALREADY!!!! Should I marry someone else and make them change their name legally so the invitations are still good?!

I would like serious, adult responses only please.

The man I'm with, I love very much. We've been together for years but I've made the continued mistake of letting him get away with not being emotional or romantic.

Against my better judgement, time and time again, I've let him off the hook when he doesn't say the three little words. I look the other way when he slides every so gracefully past my attemtps to be romantic or intimate. Not sexually but like, opening up to eachother. Now years later, I want more and am ready for more. But as strong as I am I can't seem to make him "come across" which I think he would, because he's come through before. He knows exactly how to glide past me and as hard as I try, I can't "make" him or encourage or entice or inspire him him to step up to the plate (and talk about marriage, kids, our future). I love him so freakin much I don't want to "press" him too much but I don't wanna be like this forever. I created this monster, what do I do?

I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, lived with him for 2. Now I've moved because of college, but still live with him in the weekends. I like his mom, but she's too controlling and ruining our relationship. He doesn't think she's too controlling, but I can't take it anymore. I want a MAN not a momma's boy. She calls him at least 10 times a day to hear what he is doing. When he's visiting me and she calls to get him to come home. He has to visit her every day. She cleans OUR house when I'm not there. She does his laundry. She moves the paintings on the wall. I really love my boyfriend, but it's too much. It's getting worse and worse. How do I get him to realize that it's not normal. How do I get her to back off and let him be MY MAN? and still be friends with her??? I'm really frustrated. Last Sunday he was visiting me, and I hadn't seen him for 2 weeks and she kept calling. I don't get why my boyfriend can't say no to her? She has a husband and another son still living at home.

just chats boring ****...wasting BOTH OUR TIME!...SO I SAY TO HIM ''IF ITS JUST SEX YOU WANT - YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME''.....and the club was due to shut in half an hour - so he only had 1/2 hr left to pull - so i sent him elsewhere! I think i was being kind - not wanting to waste his time (or mine!)...but my friends think i was too direct....i think , it did the trick...being totally honest with him...i don't think its too direct - i think i was being kind actually - what do you think???

I was friends with this girl, good friends. She helped me out of a really bad relationship. My ex happened to be her boyfriends best friend. After she broke up with him, she went out and started dating my ex. I have it on good authority that nothing ever happened between them while I was with him, or she was with her boyfriend. I have since told her that I will not speak to her while she is still with this guy. The worst part is, she cheated on him, it got back to him, and he blamed me for it. Sent me a text message calling me a "stupid, jealous b****." I knew about it, i told one person, who doesn't know anyone involved but me, and could care less. Am I right for telling her that I want nothing to do with her, while she continually tries to get me to forgive her and accept her choice? And why is my ex blaming her cheating getting back to him on me?

my son had a bag in his pocket which while leaving primary school with myself on our bikes fell from his pocket to which he was told by a near 6ft so called woman that he had dropped litter and was to pck it up without even looking at his mother , this frightened him as he is only 7 and didn't realise it had fallen from his pocke this so called woman is at the school gates every morning and afternoon and my son is now afraid to enter the school , I did inform the woman she was not to approach my son and should not approach any one else's child to which she replied sh didn't give a **** and told me I was a silly **** I would dearly love to know if she in fact is committing a crime by this or not . thanks

I like this guy John who i have a lot in common with he is Italian i am Spanish and we both are all about our big familys .It started as a friendship hanging out seeing each other around school and with friends now 6 months of friendship he takes really good care of me and makes me feel special and safe.He is also protective of me when we go out dancing which is really not that often but i still like it.We both met each others familys and his mom is helping me learn how to cook Italian food.Recently he asked me out ? ok i recently got into a fight with my bf cuz i kind of kept something from him for a long time regarding my parents (tht they mite not b so aproving) and so that really hurt him, and he even wanted to break up with me bc of it. I didnt do it with the intention of hurting him though, it was just something i witheld from telling him to protect him but in the end i told the truth and he came to understand and forgive me and he even told me he still wants to be w/ me but he is afraid of wat my parents mite do. I reassured him to just have faith and trust me and that my parents wouldnt do anything to try to break us apart, cuz i wouldnt let them. I know the whole dilemma really angered him, he even put "divorced" as his status on myspace. Altho i talked 2 him and he forgave me and all he still hasnt changed his status so i am beginning to think that maybe he is still hurt by it & maybe he hasnt fully forgiven me. should i bring it up next time we talk or shuld i jst giv him more time?

He is really nice to me. He is my cousins boss, he is good looking, very sweet, hardworking, and seems to really like me alot. I am somewhat turned on by his age, and every time Im around him he seems to pay close attention to me. I like that. We use to talk alot on the phone. He has a son who is about 19 or 20. He knows a little about whats going on and it doesn't seem to bother him. I like him and how he treats me. I met him out one night(took a friend with me)and he paid for everything that we had that night. I had a good time, I ended up staying the night with him, and sleeping in the same bed with him. I have asked questions before, and at that time I wasn't in the realtionship with the "Terrific Man", he had actually broke things off with me at the time for about 3 weeks. I got asked out to meet this guy, so I did. I ended up getting back into my prior relationship, but I wonder about the older guy. I keep thinking about that night I spent with him. I am attracted to him.
