There is no person or thing that can MAKE another person happy.
Happiness is an individual's choice.

I used to try and make my wife happy, but then I realized its just part of her character. Now I don't stress when she's upset and let her get pissed off with the computer or oven or microwave or cellphone or car or shower or dog or trash or whatever she wants to get upset with. Its not my job to make the world perfect for her. She enjoys spending time with me because she does. I'm happy with that.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. Sure, in a perfect world that would be great but its unattainable on a daily basis. Your primary goal in life is to keep yourself happy. He is second (or if you have children take a number). The statement is based off an outdated old rule that a womans job is to keep her husband happy. I love my wife but she doesnt make me happy all the time nor do i make her happy. Happiness is when you both are content and satisfied...that comes from happiness within. Tell him to lighten up and quit thinking like Ward Cleaver. If he wants to think like that then fine...but even the bible says were to put a woman on a pedestal. Good luck and never forget your power as a woman!

examine what "Me&Pete" wrote and then examine it lower back some cases. What you're soliciting for is widely used and healthful. If whether this in basic terms will become what "he can do for you" you may ultimately finally end up on my own. And it could't be a "properly he did not do for me right this moment so i'm not likely to do for him". somebody has to start the circle of giving. on occasion which would be you. provide him Me & Petes checklist and have him provide each merchandise you ought to do for him a score a million-5 stars so which you comprehend what he extremely needs.

I can agree with your husband, I feel that way at times, but I know that my wife would like me to pay more attention to her needs... the little things, like helping out around the house. This will free up some of her time to be more energetic and feel like pleasing me more. It's a give and take situation along with communication that makes a relationship click.

I'm not a mind reader, how am I supposed to know what my husband needs. I don't even think he knows what he needs. Mine needs to go to How to Communicate with His Wife Classes. I saw on a marriage counselor show that men need sex (which I hate) and to be domesticated (which I don't cook or clean), and they need to feel that they are needed to protect the family in every way especially financially and spiritually.

My husband likes b00bs, mountain dew, UFC, meatloaf once a month and TV at night. He's pretty easy. Oh yeah he does like dinner on the table right after work, I don't mind, we keep each other happy.

Men dont like to be the one who initiates intimacy every time. In fact most men have one goal to make the woman in their life happy. Be the aggressor sometimes especially during sex he will love you forever.
