Okay... so me and my girlfriend are supposed to be getting married. I proposed and we set a date for November 1st a while ago.
Well her dad just got arrested for a child molestation thing... apparently he snuck into an elementary school, and smeared mayonaise all over the bodies of a class of third graders and told them he wanted to make a Michael Jackson sandwich out of them.
So the lawyers say he's going to jail for at least 20 years.
And she refuses to get married if he can't walk her down the isle!!!
DO I HAVE TO WAIT 20 YEARS TO MARRY MY SWEETHEART NOW? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THE INVITATIONS!! I PAID FOR THEM ALREADY!!!! Should I marry someone else and make them change their name legally so the invitations are still good?!

the_secret_keeper is such an elite h@xx0r that he thinks I live with my parents. Im scared of him.
He even made a new name as dajpmat to harrass me. And he's still queer.

Well, he'll still be going through the process by then. See if you can have his trial date set for November 1st at the time you specified. He'll probably be wearing a suit anyways, right? Then, she gets her dad plus guards walking her down the aisle! Bonus # 1. Also, you don't have to worry about who is going to marry you, because a judge will even ber there. Bonus #2.
All you have to do is send an afterthought card to everyone telling them the venue has changed. Plus, just think, all those kids get to attend the wedding too since they will be testifying anyways, right? Ask if they will be the flower girls and ring bearers! Bonus #3.
Make sure you bring a lot of mayonnaise, like buckets of it. See if Michael is willing to attend too. He might really enjoy it!

No way you have to wait 20 years! if you get some mayonaise and do the same thing to eighth graders, if all goes well, you can marry one of them in 4 years! Forget about her! Problem solved!!!

First you have some personal issue with your own identity.
Figure out who you are first, then you will know what you want. At the 1st site of conflict, you are ready to dump her and get married to someone else. You are not ready to get married yet. Why are you rushing it? Life is a marathon not a sprint....Take your time....... See a doctor for relationship help, start with yourself....good luck

errr, why can't yall just have the wedding in the exercise yard of the prison? grey is kind of a good wedding color and look at it this way, if she wants a lot of brides maids you wont have any shortage of groomsmen with all her dad's cellies being at the wedding and uhh..lifting iron

I can understand that she wants her dad to walk her down the aisle, but she needs to learn that we can't always have what we want. If he's going to be in jail for a long time, then she needs to deal with the fact that he won't be there. If she can't or won't accept that fact, then move on.

Sorry to not be sympathetic with you, but why the **&^ would she want a child molester to walk her down the aisle anyhow. If I were her I would be totally ashamed of him and not care if he rotted in jail for 20 yrs, even if he was my dad. Especially if he was my dad
