My wife and I are having our 3 year wedding anniversary (7 years total together). We have 2 very little kids, and will only be able to get out for a couple hours. I will be taking her out to a nice dinner, and I have a beautiful necklace as well, but I wanted to see if there were other clever ideas out there to make it really special.

Thanks

you could write her a special poem, or take her home and make sure the kids are asleep and turn on some music and dance slowly with her by candle light...take a bubble bath together with scented oil by candle light.....give her a very special massage....

It is wonderful to treat your love with a gift certificate for a day of pampering at the spa, so why not make a date out of it? Tell your date to dress comfortably and be prepared for a few hours of complete bliss and pampering. You should tell a woman a day ahead of time because she will most likely want to shave and prepare before anyone puts their hands on her. You might possible arrange to have back massages side by side, maybe even on the beach if you are near a resort style community. Get the works too and not just the massage. Order a manicure, a pedicure, a foot massage, a facial and maybe even a mud bath. The best way to top off an afternoon like this one would be to end with an evening in a jacuzzi under the stars with champagne and strawberries. You can find and make reservations for a spa retreat at SpaFinder.com.

When you get to the restaraunt, tell her to wait that you'll open her door for her - as you open her door, kneel down and take her hand, Propose to her all over again, in the parking lot. You obviously won't be saying "will you marry me" - BUT if you took that stance, and said something like "I have been the happiest man on the earth since the day I met you and since the day you became my wife. We have created two of the most beautiful children together. You are my everything." Give it your own touch, you don't have to use those words. But something as simple as getting down on your knee in the middle of a parking lot and telling her your deepest feelings, means MORE to a woman than any gift you could buy, or any place you could take her. Trust me on this one, she'll love it. BE ROMANTIC!!! And by the way, Happy Anniversary!!

Dang, ya wanna take me out for my anniversary too? Sounds like you are a real sweetheart.

I gave this idea to a woman once: make "life's to do" lists. Each makes their list putting some big ideas on there such as learning to play an instrument, fly a plane, tour Europe, etc. and then you exhange them and keep each other's. You then have really great ideas for future presents for one another as the years roll by. You can start planning to really surprise her for the 10th if say one of her big items on the list needs lots of timing and some savings.

Have a great anniversary.

A walk on the beach at night would nice, depending on the restaurant try to get someone to sing yours and hers wedding song while at dinner. Take her dancing. Good luck.

I think I speak for most women when I say we are sentimental. We love our pictures. They have those programs online where you can make a CD of pictures to music. You get to pick the song. It is an awesome gift. And you download the program and can use it over and over. Look at best buy for the program. Spend time finding the right song with the right words. thats very important. or if she has a favorite song, bonus***.

Take some of your favorite photos with you, when you met, your wedding, kids being born etc..... tell her why they are special to you, they also make for some fun conversation over dinner and you both will leave with a "fuzzy warm feeling" after a lovely evening together.

Give him a handwritten note along with the necklace stating how you feel about her. Be sincere, tell her what she means to you & all the great things you love about her. A full body massage is always nice too. Oh & great sex!!!!

Treat her as if you were still dating. OPEN the car door for her. Pull her into a out of the way spot and kiss her before you go into the restaurant. Dance in your bedroom with her. Ive been married for 26 years and it all works for me.

My husband and I used to just hang out at the beach when we were dating. So now we go to that beach on our anniversary sometimes, it is very special to us. Go somewhere special that means something. Go there and give her the necklace.
